Good News: My wife got her PP back on Friday with a shining visa stamped on it The Visa is good till Jan 2013 (expires on the same day as her medical).

Actually, nobody was home so the mail man delivered it to the neighbour. It is a small town so no big deal... pretty much everyone in the neighbourhood knows each other very well including the mail man. So, all worked out well.

hi pjmin,
i have also done same mistake and after interview, i asked my VO that i received GCMS notes and you mentioned that "i didnt put VO name on the form" he said- its ok dont worry, we fixed that and you will receive your visa soon.
so you dont need to worry about that, they can fix themselves

there is only one kind of PCC, you can get it either from police station or passport office. if you have submitted your PCC with your application, you dont need to submit again. ND will send you a letter requesting passport, pcc and RPRF ($490) but if you have submitted your PCC and total fees, just ignore these 2 and send your passport.

Thanks for clarifying the PCC issue, it makes sense that there would be only one, but after hearing from some I wasn't sure.... Congrats on your case moving forward, I know you had a long journey, but you are almost there, so it's all good!! hope you get the passport back soon with your visa, and you move on with your life!P

This is really too bad...I feel for you. But you won't be allowed into the visa office unless you have a pre-arranged appointment - remember the forum member Mumpy tried exactly this about a month ago and was denied entry for this reason. Hopefully the MP can find out what the decision was (positive or negative) and what's causing the hold up. Best of luck.

I dont get it. I am getting nervous now. The delay in PP makes me think of a possibility of a rejection(which I really doubt) given how much proofs and what not we provided. If they have a doubt, they mostly do an Interview! There is no interview and went to a DM. There are so many possibilities to think of! I am arriving in Delhi on Aug 22, so they better figure this out before that. My MP wont get me a response atleast by end of the coming week, so we prolly still have to wait for some time. Email response is also a possibility but I am not sure if they will respond in time. Another possibility is that the PP come in the mail in the coming week! I am little speechless right now..

yes they have fixed already because in your GCMS notes, status of medical is passed good luck to you too

yes it was a very long journey but i was with my wife from starting and still together so it wasnt painful for us

thanks , they sent me an interview invitation by email after 1 month of PPR. they asked everything about me, my wife and our relationship from our first contact to engagement, marriage and reception . they were asking very simple questions, it seems like they just match your answers with application forms but they waste lot of time after interview he said, i am convinced that your relationship is genuine and you will get your visa soon.
