when you received an interview letter there is a list of interpreter name and contact information with that letter you have to contact CHC-ND appointed interpreter prior to your interview and hired them as your mediator.. Contact them now and appoint the interpreter cuz at last minute you wont get an interpreter..

Yes I did get the list. But they mentioned that they have hindi and punjabi interpreters with them. So I believed that I don't need to hire anyone. Correct me if I am wrong. What abt ur wife? What did she do?

Hi Guys !!!!!

A friend of mine has a question , since he is not comfortable with this forum ... I'm helping him get the answer for his question .....

What happenes when your passport expires while your application is still processing ......

He is really stressed .... Pls pls pls share your opinions ...
@angel.forever.....if am not getting it wrong, urs friend has applied for souse visa......well i guess whenever someone apply for spouse case, prior to applying one have to get her spouse name entered into his/her passport by PO and also changing martial status.....so at that time passport automatically get renewed.....n there's no way it will expire as validity of passport is for 10 years

Before the initial interview they asked you if you want an interpreter, sometime it will take longer then expected or interpreter was busy serving other clients. you wont get an interpreter on spot you have to wait.
@addicted.. we dont need to notify them whether you want interpreter or not. if you need a mediator try to appoint him/her before the interview date. so you dont need to find them at last minute.
in wife case we did not hired interpreter and VO did not even ask whether you need interpreter at the time of interview.

I have not changed my name or added my spouse name on the passport . It's my old name only . Neither has my freind ...

My rep told me that I need not do any changes now , once the passport expires that is not before 2019 ,,, that time u can change ...

@addicted123 ... In this scenario I would suggest do what am4u2ster is saying . U should not take a chance . If his wife was not asked then u really can't sit till the last minute .

On average how long does it take for Delhi to ask for passport and for interview if there will be one? I have been waiting since mid October still no news.

Don't be scared, try to find the better way to overcome all your fear.. be relaxed cool calm and make a good position in your interview.
