Hey Kaur, I saw you post and really felt so sad that you are an Feb 2012 applicant and you haven't received an visa yet, did you apply GCMS notes or got the Help through MP's query done from your area constituency in Canada.

You will be under the category of Access to Information act once you are going to apply for this and your sponsor has rights to get the information about whats going on with your file so I don't think it will rely an effect on your lawyer too but also if necessary before taking this steps consult with your lawyer as he is handling your case .

One good news from our side ;D ;D

Just now we received a mail from Delhi IM inquiry. They asked us to send the passport... ;D
After seeing this mail I logged into CIC website.. but their the status is still application received and no updates have been done..

But what ever we are happy and gonna send the PP ASAP

Hey scorpionking, Thank You!!! I am not sure what is GCMS notes. and regarding the MPs query, I recently got to know so planning to go through this process. Also as I have updated "addicted123" that my case was filled by my husband from Canada itself and with the help of a Lawyer... You think that make some difference???

But all this while what was ur lawyer doing , why didn't he sent any query regarding ur case . He must be having all the information on where to send the mails , what r GCMS notes ... What does ur ecas show ?

Happy to say that my wife got her PP back with the Visa yesterday.
Now getting ready to pack and tickets booked.
Can any one suggest if she can bring some Indian spices for the cooking and sweets home made on her travel?

Hi Nancy.. did they send you a letter to REDO the medical? tell me something about your medicals?

Yes they sent remedical request along with passport . i think from november onwards they are not giving extensions to anyone . Nov. 7th update on their website says medicals valid only for 1 year. earlier they had detailed description about extension. but still i am not sure.

What happen about your re-medical? did you ask your mp again? My MP doent want to inquiry until 10 months finished?

in my case MP office is bit cooperative.They had requested remedical on 18th decemebr..nothing happened ..they have sent query again in feb begining .they want to wait for 4 weeks and they said they will chk again if no reply..

and March too.... .. i am march 2012 applicant.

my medicals have expired 2 days back, i had emailed NVDO before that, stating they would expire soon, they replied back stating:
"As your application is in progress at the Case Processing Pilot centre in Ottawa you will have to contact that office for any information on your application", .... my husband verified from cic call center, if the sponsorship is being re-evaluated, but the agent said the sponsorship application was already approved earlier, and Case Processing Pilot Centre in Ottawa assists other visa offices in processing applications.

strange.... why my application is in process in ottawa...... any similar situations anyone....??

I need your opinion and comments please...... when CIC M transferrs a case to NDVO, how long does it take for NDVO to receive the application kit?? i am really shocked when i got to know that my application kit has not yet been received by NDVO even though it was transferred on 2nd Nov, 2012.

I am not able to understand anything...... jst trying to figure out whether i actually lost 3 months just for the transfer of file from one office to another or the email i got was just a stereotype mail which shouldnt be actually believed......

I am once again reproducing the extract of the email which says:

"Our records show that, in this case, we have received notification from CPC Mississauga that the sponsorship has been approved, but we have not yet received the application kit, including all the necessary forms and supporting documents.

As the application kit should be received shortly, we request the applicants to await contact from our office"
