Finally i have someting good to say

I got canada address on ecas yesterday afternoon but still in process. It fine! I know now i have to wait for my passport.

Pls can anyone tell me how much time generally they take to dispatch pp. Since i'm from Delhi so i think i should get it by nxt week.

What details should be included in the cover letter while sending the PP..

PCC - Originals ,I already submitted while filing the application.

Landing fees - My wife paid that too while filing...

so my questions is, what details should be there in package and the cover letter?

Phew.. Congrats!!!! I think there is something going on with my case.. I wonder what! I have sent an email enquiry to the office yesterday and I have made an appointment with my MP for next week.. There is no reason unless something is OFF for them to take so long to send back the passport.. my only worry is if they came and no body was home then what they do!

I wonder if going to the high commission after next week would be better off! Its too bad that they dont have a way to communicate specially with the applicants who's case is a DM now. I know for a fact that they will keep the passport with them for some time (30 days or so) if at all it was not delivered and went back cause no one was at home! But they should have called my wife by now to ask to pick it up! Also, the ECAS is not updating her address to Canada.. These are not good signs! I have also asked for notes on July 17 so Aug 17 atleast I should have notes..

Perhaps the DM was a NO! ? and hence no passport back yet and ECAS not updated to Canadian Add? I wonder its taking them some time to print the NO VISA letter! ?? Its too many things going on! This is PURE DRAMA!

Ok, I think I need to relax, given I know so much abt CIC , they still FIND a way to put lalatata in a fenzy.. hmm I think after my MP's appointment ( he will take 5 days to get back ) that will be already Aug 17, I should have my notes that means I would at least know whats going on by then!

If that is the case, Plus always a possibility of a phone call from CIC to my wife to come pick up the passport or it gets in the mail or ECAS gets updated..

So, given all this, I am going to book my flight to Delhi for Aug 17 ish and go to the high commission with whatever I would know by then and speak to them!

Damn! Any thoughts?

your worry is nothing. Your DM is absolutely approved as your case was preti strait forward, so there is no way they wll deny your request without any notice.

i am thinking there z an issue with the address. as i said check with your local post office as well and ofcourse with the MP next week..

but i am positive that u ll get it by monday.

You're one step closer
You can incld a copy of PCC and payment if you have it, just indicate that the orignals were sent earlier. Don't forget to include copy of the PPR that they emailed as well.

PCC - These documents are to be provided for each country other than Canada, in which you have lived for six consecutive months or longer since reaching the age of 18.

what does this mean actually?

For example , If a person had moved to a country by the age of 14 and the current age is 30 ... do he/she have to take PCC from both the countries?

Thomas saint- Include a receipt(copy) of your landing fees paid by your wife(JUST IN CASE)

Just write on the cover letter what exactly are you sending in the package.

Only after 18 years old, if you stayed anywhere longer than 6 months since that age you would have to incld PCC.

I believe only the applicant has to submit PCC after the age of 18. So if the person has been living in the same place since age of 14, they would only do PCC for that place. Before the age of 18, I don't think there is any way of getting a PCC, unless the kid got himself/herself in trouble as a kid.

Just rec'd my GCMS notes, not as helpful as I hoped. It does confirm that my husbands PP was rec'd and that all payments are rec'd (I paid RPRF after sponsorship approval). Medicals passed. Everything else says "not started". It also says that we did not indicate VO on the medical. Hope that isn't a problem :s

That sucks..VO is not yet assigned to your application that is why medical is not assign to any visa officer...

Your case is more like SB Delhi where the case was strait forward however they didn't pick up his file on time...

Hp Patel and lalatata got there approval and I guess they both applied after u...

Well with the reference of the notes you can again contact your MP and advice him to help you out as others are receiving approval even though they applied after u....
