It wasn't me. I was replying to naabagata! I received PPR on Nov mid and sent passport on Nov 19th. Yeah agree we are on same timeline. Cheers!

finally received passport today with visa on it and copr ...( thy didnt return my pictures back i send thm around 500 pictures)

once again thnkuu soo much all forum members it was great help n best place to make ths wait bit easier

will be leaving my best week and will post after reaching

Now I already lost my hope...people who applied in june and nuly, they are getting visa....I dont know why my damn lawer dont want to understand that. What the heck is he gonna do after 10 months once ND says they are waitting for something


My lawer doesnt want me to apply GCMS note and even I called to MP he said they cant help you until 10 months

Its exactly 4 months from the day i sent my passport to NDVO....still ECAS shows two horrific words "Application Received"

Probably when they looked at your case, they didn't see the need of asking passports. You may get a request when they make decision on your case, later. Anyway use this link to submit any enquiry

Guys, I have sponsored my wife and its been 4 months since submitting passport.
How is the address system works on ECAS? When I login with my client id, I see two addresses in the box, both are canadian adddresses of me.
Please advice.

I have received a call from CHC Delhi today and they've asked me to pay the landing fees. They didn't give me any other information- if they're ready to issue me a visa or not, but atleast I feel they've started working on my file. ;D

My question is when I pay the landing fees online should I use my details or my sponsor's details? Did anyone go through a similar situation?

Wow you submitted your file on the same day as we submitted my husband's file. I really really don't want to get my hopes up but this wait is driving me insane. To pay the landing fees, you have to submit the applicant's information i think. 99% sure. Did you try and ask them about your passport by any chance? I have paid all the fees and I'm waiting for any stupid news they could give me....sooooo tireddddddd :'(

If you are logging with your own id then it will be the same address shown in the same page. They will give you a new client ID for your wife file. When you login with that ID there will be just one address. Late once decision is made there will be two address.

Really? We did it twice through MP. So the first time we came to know they(NDVO) wanted more documents and had drafted a letter on 26th October but it was sent to us on 22nd December. Like how lame isn't it? But anyways, so we sent the documents on 4th Jan, the MP's manager said it usually takes 3-6 weeks after sending the documents for they VO take any decision or an update. Lets see what happens..


I sent my pp on 27th August.. Been waiting thinking is mahine aajaye uss mahine aajaye :'(

I totally agree. When we first submitted the passport, everyone got our hopes us saying it takes 15 days to a month...wow was that hard. Every morning I would wake up exactly at 7 and my first message to my husband was "another disappointing day" then days turned into weeks and now I have stopped counting. I had to visit my husband back in India and attend a family function....i almost made him circle the airport twice as I was not ready to get off the car and willing to leave. cried my eyes out like crazy....i hate this wait...

Amen to that!! My mom has this internal gut telling her that my husband's passport will come by jan 31 and lol her gut has been so wrong for the past little while...but i really cross my fingers and how we all hear some good news....praying for everyone!!

It needs to be done only if your marriage certificate is issued by a country other than India. Apostille is not valid to use in the issuing country. Check this:
