I am not able to check application status on ecas. The website does not work. Is anyone else facing that issue?

I mean to say, does PPR show once u click on application received?

Normally there is no update for PPR request in ECAS

Hello Everyone,

Is there anyone on this forum who have got "Decision Made" around 14th Jan and still haven't received their passport? I'm in that timeline and just trying to understand if this is just a delay in receiving mails, or there is an interview or further processing pending.

Please share your thoughts.

After DM there wont be any interviews and it means all processing is completed. So you should expect your passport now.

Can u help me out to know regarding MP? What does that mean? IS a lawyer used as a representative can be called an MP??

The MP is the member of parliament for the area in Canada the sponsor lives in. Your lawyer/immigration consultant is not an MP.

You can do a simple google search to find out who the MP in the sponsor's area is. This person has the authority to inquire the status of your application from NDVO and you can approach him/her to find out more information.

Got my Passport with shiny VISA today

i had sent a mail to canadian embassy yesterday enquiring whether they have my passport or not and i got a call this morning from CHC delhi asking to confirm my address. They said that my package was returned to the embassy as they couldn't locate my address. They asked me to collect my PP from CHC.
Worst part is that the visa was issued to me in september and they didn't inform me when i asked for the status of my passport in november.

But finally the wait is over

What the hell were they doing with your passport?

Anyway, its good u went there... abhi tho i think by March if I dont hear anything i will go to CHC. Morcha shuru kar doongi

Looks like July applicants approvals started from this week, we both have almost same timelines (application filed / aor / passport req)...lets hope for the best. I am hoping we will hear something by end of next week.

Please post in forum if you have any updates....

Cool, good to know someone with similar timeline, I'm going to give them till end of Feb before I start going to MP or ordering GCMS notes. I haven't even gone into in process yet...Really hope all this gets done soon

woww finally some good news just heard back from MP he got ths reply from NDVO....

(We are pleased to advise that, soon, the applicant's visa, passport, and any original documents which are on file will be sent by registered mail to the following mailing address in India: )

MP said u will receive passport in 10 15 days

my ECAS is still application received ..

yEA I GOT MY PP BACK BUT I ALREADY had temporary resident visa and not PErmanent resident visa which i hv nw applied.
