Hey Paul and Calgary2013,
We have timelines that are close. I have not received my PPR either. Looking at spreadsheet, mostly they have sent ppr within 2 to 6 weeks. But lately i guess they have not sent ppr's for files received in November and after. Maybe they have changed the process and this might be the new trend (they might ask for passport when they are done with processing). But its my guess.

Yeah.. it seems so.. they may be changing the trend of process... as they are holding the passports for longer times... to avoid this situation, they may not be requesting passports for our files...

Yaa that can be true..Lets hope they ask for the passports ASAP and also issue the visa quickly as it's very hard to live on the other end of the line...

Can any1 suggest how to update my timeline on the leftside of the forum? so that people with similar timeline can be in touch easily...
My timeline is as following:
App'n date: 18 Oct 12
App'n recieved: 19 Oct 12
AOR: 12 Nov 12
File transferred: 16 Nov 12
Passport Request: Waiting since long...

Is it really needed to update profile info? I might doubt it. I guess i did it even before 10 posts. Go to Profile on the top->click on Forum Profile Information on left-> and update the information you see on right and click on CHANGE PROFILE. you should see the changes made. Give it a try

Looks like July applicants approvals started from this week, we both have almost same timelines (application filed / aor / passport req)...lets hope for the best. I am hoping we will hear something by end of next week.

Please post in forum if you have any updates....

woww finally some good news just heard back from MP he got ths reply from NDVO....

(We are pleased to advise that, soon, the applicant's visa, passport, and any original documents which are on file will be sent by registered mail to the following mailing address in India: )

MP said u will receive passport in 10 15 days

my ECAS is still application received ..

Congrates ... thts Really good news... wait for the NDVO reply...

Query: What do you mean by MP? I have used lawyer as a representative of my side. Can he be called an MP? Can he cantact NDVO for accessing the status of application in detail?

What is GCMS??
