What do you mean by the GCMS notes?

GCMS notes are the details about your file. You can use them to find out where your application is stuck.

Thanks Maplegal but i heard once some one checks your file, it goes back again on the bottom. And also i have a question about contacting the MP? Do we contact the MP in Canada or India and how do we do that?

Are you living away from New Delhi?? I suggest you take a print out of the Ecas that you had DM since Sept 2012 ans the can let you in for a physical query. Coz normally it took maximum 8-10 days to get passport back with visa (if the PP is already with VO) and in your case it is more than four months. :o :o :o

You should select the electronic copy option. That way they pull out the info electronically and not the physical file.

The MP to contact is in Canada, the place where the sponsor stays. You can do a simple google search to get the contact info for the MP.

However, the MP's office we contacted told us that we cannot request for info unless the average time has elapsed, whereas some other people on the forum got good responses from their MPs. The sponsor should contact the MP's office at least and see if they are helpful. Doesn't hurt to give it a try. :)

They seldom reply to emails. Least you can do is do a MP inquiry or order GCMS. Have you done that? You have been posting on this forum since quite some time now. Most members here have suggested you a lot of options. You need to act on your case. Its not a simple NDVO delaying you file thing as us. There are two possibilities to your case:
- NDVO dispatched the passport and you did not get it
- NDVO did not dispatch the passpot.

First you need to take effort to figure, which one is it.

Here is a list of options you need to go for rather than wasting time here (sorry to say but you are in a loop for quite sometime now)

- email: Doesn't helped as you have already tried it
- Going to Delhi physically: Not sure if that will work, but in your defense, your case is different and unique. They may entertain you in this situation
- Ordering GCMS and/or contacting MP: This is the best bet you have, these options will tell you for sure, if the passport has been dispatched by NDVO or not. If they have already dispatched it, then you cannot possibly blame them for the delay. You will have to figure out a way to get details of the register post sent. MP inquiry can take anywhere between one week or two to get reply back, GCMS takes 3 to 4 weeks. I am really surprised you have not done this earlier.

I really hope and wish that you will get this case cleared very soon. But its you, who needs to take solid steps. Members here can help you only in giving you valid suggestions. We are like you, we know things from our limited experience. At last its you and your spouse who needs to act on this.

I agree with waitingsince2004 here. Its not like that. If you select 'electronic copy' then they pull the details out of their case management system, which is computerized. It doesn't affect the sequence.
