My passport was requested on Aug 25 and received by NDVO on 4th of September....

When i sent my pp late, i just sent along a cover letter and the original pp request letter...i did not send any other document....even though i spent 2 months out of the country. Any ways you better confirm from a consultant...they will know best.

I guess no one knows the answer for your question.Its been over 80 days for me since I sent my PP and no response from the ND Office yet...

Same here its almost 3 months they hold my passport no newssss from NDVO... we thought we will celebrate xmas n new years together.. but now I doubt if we will be able to celebrate our aniversary in the last week of Jan :-\ ND VO please show us some action this week plssssss

Dear Mumble,

I'd seen that your Ecas is "In Process" from 26th Sept 2012. Did you check with NVDO by sending any email or did your spouse contacted with his/her MP in Canada coz it is an unusual. Normally max time of DM after "In Process" is 60-90 days (If you have a long Travel History)

Hahahahahahaha cool down mumble, can understand and all are under the same situation, .........Oh my God.......... "Patience" this word is making every one crazy!!!!!!!!!

Why NDVO's are doing like this with us?........... after all this is gods earth and our marriages were made in heaven!!!!!!!

Why are they stopping us from our loved ones...........Let us live our lives..... please issue all of us visa and make us happy!!!!!!!!!!!!

Normally after the PPR, PP must be send within 30 days as they have clearly mentioned in the email so you did that by sending it in a month September and again you

requested PP back in November from NDVO for foreign travel I guess, the following below may help you:-

# Send again your request to the CIC inquiry about, resending your PP with the reason.

# Do not send PP unless requested by CIC.

# Wait for their reply before sending PP with your old PPR letter.

# If you have traveled abroad then attached the supplementary form filled with an old and the new travel history along with the duration of stay.

Sorry to say, but part of what you said may not be right...."# Do not send PP unless requested by CIC...# Wait for their reply before sending PP with your old PPR letter." If any person from Ndvo or any consultant suggested this then that's fine...If not, then it might be best for people in this situation to confirm things.

As per logic, the more you delay sending the passport...its going to effect the application process time. That's probably why they say that 2nd ppr delays your application process.

I also sent my passport really late...and I did not wait for a 2nd ppr or a reply from their side...sent my pp as soon as I reached India to avoid any further delays. Normally Passports do not get lost...When Ndvo receives a passport it takes several days for them to process it and attach it to the right file no. (as per email reply i got from ndvo).

But yes the most important thing when someone sends a late pp is to get a confirmation from Ndvo that they have recieved the passport. Rest as I said depends on case to case...and one must confirm from right sources.

the decision was made on our case with bunch of others on dec 1st. bt we are still waiting for passport... just want to know if there is anyone else in the same boat with us... should we be concerned.

can some one suggest if we need to call them or email them.
