PPR YET?...

which part of india do you stay in....people has been getting there PPR request on regular basis.

havent heard anything from you. SEE if anyone else is from the same part of the country waiting for PPR.

Noo.. I haven't heard anything yet... i am from punjab....

I am not sure if they have misplaced my PPR....Do you suggest sending a case specific inquiry would be a good idea?

Same here its been a month now-no PPR hence, yesterday I have placed the case specific enquiry to ND. As we know it takes longer time for them to reply. I suggest you do the same.

I dnt knw Manorite, i still dont see a point of doing case specific enquiry.

I told them when I received the file number and when my file moved to ND. Since then there is no communication from ND office. Asked the reason for the same.

@Sumit- My point is, anyway ND takes 30 odd days to give reply on this. So if anything goes wrong, they will at least reply to us early. And I believe doing an enquiry will not affect the case. Hence....

I have sent my passport to New Delhi VO on july 18th 2012. how long it takes to receive the passport back and my status is still at application received.
Is it necessary for the status to change to 'in process.'

dont worry ,,,,its not necessary to change status into in process ,, most of applicants got visa directly via application received to decision made even one of applicant received his pp back but ecas still shows in process so dont bother much about ecas just chill ,,,,,,,,good luck
