New Delhi - 2012 applicants

Alright so here is my situation:

Application received by CIC - August 14, 2012
Date of approval of sponsorship for me as a sponsor - October 10, 2012
Visa office of spouse - New Delhi

How long can it take for the Canadian High Commission in Delhi to send my wife a letter requesting her to send the passport to them?

How long can it take for the Canadian High Commission in Delhi to send my wife a letter requesting her to send the passport to them?

Normally it takes around 3-4 weeks for PPR from New Delhi Office...You can follow August thread for more details...

Hey frns, all those who got document request , how much time did they give to submit ??

in my case, the timeline given to submit requested document is 1 month.

Hi Guys,
After i got AOR from Missisaga, i updated my mailing address online.
Could that be the reason that i did not get PPR from New Delhi? I never changed my Indian address for my spouse, just changed my mailing address with my Client ID for Canada. I got AOR on Sep 28, 2012 and today is Oct 25, 2012. No PPR.

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... PASSPORT IN THE HAND WITH THE VISA!!!!! WOHOOOOO!!!!!
states in the visa it was issued on 22nd October
also I just checked my e-cas... changed from Application Received to IN- process !!!
states: We started processing ****** application on October 22, 2012.
Thankyou God for making it through so much and hearing my prayers.. All of them in this forum have been wonderful in being supportive with each other..Will pray out for all..God bless.. Thankyou all!!!

I have the same situation ..still no ppr for me too ..
sponsorship approval on 19th sept ...after that nothin

Hi Ancy Congrats!!! good luck to u From the posts i have read earlier i guess u were requested for more documents...can u plz share when ur documents were requested?? jus to know how many daysit took for them to issue visa after requesting the documents!!

My wife's interview went well... About 45 mins time... just went over details of marriage and some personal questions like my job and what we are planning to do when she get to canada... at the end she was told that they accept the marriage is genuine... but we are a bit confused about when they are going to send the passport back... they told her that passport will be sent to her by new year... not sure if they want to hold the passport till then or they just said it because the application will have 9 months processing time completed by that time... So now waiting for passport to come ...

Same thing had happened to me this month aswell they said dat i haven't filled 1 of da forms so they gave me deadline of a month to resubmit the form HOWEVER. I did submitted the form when i first applied for my wife.. If u've already sent them the Req DOC's then just to b on the saife side i would Highly rocommend you to email them once regarding the papers. And 1 more imp thing is to keep the proof of the courier that you've sent them..
