New Delhi - 2012 applicants

I am in the same boat as you are. I too have applied on Feb 27, 2012 and my file was transferred to the ND office on similar dates to what you have. I received a request for additional documents on August 17. Seems like we are facing the same visa issuing officer.
I sent the additional documents on August 21.
I have even approached MP. The MP told me that the visa office has received the documents and visa would be issued soon. But now it is more than 3 months since the passport was submitted and there is no decision made or communication received.

The website indicates that New Delhi takes 9 months to process application. So, MP has advised me to wait until March 2013. This is ridiculous !

Don't look at others .........u got in process so celebrate ........there are some who have appealed and are waiting since 3 years .......so rather be happy that u will get the visa soon without having to sit for interview .......

Don't panic my friend. See I am an april applicant and our case is very much starightforward but we are still waiting. And I can understand how you must be feeling when somebody who applied after you, get Visa.

my case also went to inprocess yesterday ..........so let's wait and watch .........now the wait is not so painful coz we are almost certain there wont be any interview or document request ........so let them take watever time they wana take .........y is ur husband not excited....??

quick question? my husband got passport request on september 1st and we coudnt send passport till october 22,2012...but just checked ecas says in process.it says they start processing our file on october19,2012.....

how come they start processing our file without having passport.

we sent our passport on october 19,2012.

Hi dear... congrats on ur case moving to In Process... they asked u for the passport n without recieving they sent ur case to In Process... it means they are unbaised n working on our applications... its jus that every case is different... we need to be patient n be positive coz thats only we can do... Wish u luk for ur quick visa.. am sure its on its way soon..
