Passport Req..: 17-Aug-2012 ( send the same on 30-Aug-2012, recieved as per courier on 31-Aug-2012)
Documents Req: 13-Sep-2012 ( more photos requested of marriage and honeymoon.. send in about 200 odd photos) recieved the same in Delhi by 15- Sep- 2012
VISA ISSUED...: =|

on what date were you asked for passport size photos ...??

Its der in sheet....
Btw the letter was dated 3rd Oct....n it reached to me via snail mail by 7th Oct and i send the photos on 9th Oct

Ok....my passport request letter is dated 14th September...but i got the mail on 19th.......so effectively my PPR date should me 14th .....no...??

Thanks smvi!! will update .. In the mean time does any1 know how to ask for the passport back .. i was thinking of asking for the passport till the time of the travel and return the same once I'm back.. because the whole thing seems to be taking time.. and my job is at stake .. have postponed my travel plans twice already.. and i don't think i can do it again.. please help?!!! My travel plans are for 2-3 weeks.. I'm not even sure if thats a good idea!!!

If u ask for passport , then it will delay yr process ...
Do ask some lawyers or so before doing it........

hi guys.... i got decision made on 13th oct.... i am from tamilnadu.... i did not receive my passport yet... how long will it take to get my passport back....

hi taam, u should be receiving it today or tomorrow.. it takes 3-4 business days for registered post to tamil nadu

Not that soon.. will be around for sometime... and can consider relocating with the company as well..!!! my options are around with the job!

Yea i also had the option.......but i decided not to consider anything that can hamper or delay my reunion with my wife......jobs come and go......If i were you i would never ask my passport back .....

yeah I feel the same... asking the PP back will make the process very very slow ... even i would not ask my passport back...

think once again before asking ur PP back...

hmm.. true.. wish i could explain the urgency!!! was just considering all the options.. i was not really aware of it getting delayed.. thought its going to stick to its processing times... looks like i have to let go of the job!! Jobs will come and go!!!

hehe.. good lord.. i'm actually laughing after a long time.. been reading this forum for quite some time.. and going through the frustration equally with all the other april applicants.. thanks a lot.. will let go.. thats the best!!!
