Congratulations to all who have received their PP back with Visa and good luck to those who are waiting for their PP (with DMs and In Process statuses.) - Mine still says App. Recd.

I have one question, while reading from few replies, I came across terms like GCMSs and inquiry through MPs, I am not sure what are these terms ? Whats info. do they give us and how do we apply for any of these ? Apologies if this has been answered somewhere else. Just curious.

some of the friends have written interview >> WAIVED after passport is mailed.
How to know if the interview is waived? any idea

if your ECAS is "in process", it means interview has been waived

I have asked this a few times but it seems it has become lost in the sea of replies.


Can i send additional proof of relationship without being asked for it? At the time we applied (march 6 2012) we only had 6 months of proof, now we have over 1 year of communication proof through phone and computer since we have been apart.

I want to send these to ND. Will it delay the process? Will it affect anything?

They have had his passport for over 3 months now with not a word from them, he was in australia on student visa for 4 years, staying 1 year past his visa expiry, then got bridging visa to return when he could afford the ticket back. I know that is probably a big reason for delay but I want to send these things.


If anyone has done the same or knows anything I will be very greatful!

yes you can do that and i did same but i got interview call even after sending additional docs. as you mentioned main reason is his status in Australia, if you want you can wait more or send docs now

Thank you ashunandal...we called cic and they asked us to write a letter to nd vo explaining the mistake. They said no need to resend form. Just send form only if they instruct us further..
Hopefully it does not affect the process. You think it might cause any delay or problem?

no it will not cause any major delay maybe 1-2 weeks, but by sending corrected forms with explanation letter, you can avoid expected delay. i think you should send new form also at same time.

Can someone tell me if they got this same message before? How do we resolve this issue? I cant get passed this message and if I check the box it will remove the information from the website, I dont want to do that. I want to see the information, thats why I'm loggin in ;D

dont click on that box, you need to wait for few days and ecas will start working properly

Hello my experience might of some help, I requested NdVO to ask for my passport at the final stage as well and I got call on sept 10 after my status went to in process since sept 4th. Lady over the phone told me have 45 days to submit my passport or else application will na cancelled so make sure you do submit your passport within 45days from the date your dad received call. My status still shows in process and I was told that my case is on final stage I sent my passport on 11thsep so don't know how much time does ND take even when they are on final stage .

yes i will submit my passport as soon as i reach delhi mid october.

i think they can take up to 2-3 weeks after pp submission...so you are quite close to that. good luck!

I got a really bad news today.. They sent my application package back. Stating that it is incomplete and I am missing addition family information form signed by applicant. But when I checked the package they sent back the form is there and it's signed by my wife ??? What am I missing ? I am freaking out.. Can anyone here tell me that does this additional family form need to in English as well as in native language? Like English and punjabi? So 2 forms for additional family? If anyone can send me a sample... Please

I can understand your feelings but like someone said dont waste time consult a good lawyer and re apply again...dont make ur case complicated by doing re marriage...i m sure u will win re appeal and get visa soon..also u need to go back to india to stay with ur wife for somedays so that she can also get morale support and she v be not depress...all r gud wishes are with you bro..god bless tk cr

I think you need to mention the names in English and your native language below it in the same form. Two separate forms are not needed.
