Decision made guys, i just checked my online status of my application, it reflects decision made but they did not update new address on ecase yet, should I worry or its ok..

We received null xxxx application for permanent residence on February 16, 2012.

We started processing null xxxx application on August 2, 2012.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on null xxxx application. The office will contact null xxxx concerning this decision.

WAT NULL (in front of my name) MEANS HERE...?

After thinking alot over it, I have decided to send my passport via relative to NDVO. I'm just not able to travel any time soon to India. I was wondering if you guys know anyone for whom this has worked out just fine? Is there anyone that I can contact and discuss this with?

NULL means you dont have surname on your passport and in that situation they put your full name as surname and null as first name. your name will be "NULL jassonu" in all records in Canada.

dont worry about address stuff, it takes few days after DM and check sponsor's ecas, if it has 2 addresses otherwise you will have to sponsor's home address, then they will update on your ecas

ok yes i had same issue and sponsor's ecas had only mailing address and i didnt get canadian address on my ecas even after 2-3 days of DM. there is an option to change sponsor's address on ecas under address section, click on that and update the address, you will get canadian address on your ecas within few days. (its not necessary to have canadian address on ECAS but if you want you can try )
