Hi Ashu,

what is actually a Bcakground check according to CIC,

in IT companies they give the candidate details to BC agency to check for the information given by him/her is correct and if the BC is positive then the candidate can continue the employment if not he /she will be terminated..

about VO ND, what kind of informations do they check... do they compare the details what we have given is matching with the BC data's?

in my case am working in a company and will the BC agency check with my present employer and previous employers? i have totally changed 3 companies before coming to this present one.. will this delay my process? I have no travel history...

any thoughts??

Finally I got small change in my ECAS.
Earlier it was just application recvd.
Now it says:

We received your application for permanent residence on March 19, 2012.

Medical results have been received.

Looks like they are working
i hope i get my DM soon..

August is about to end...i dont know when i ll see some change on Ecas
Its almost 2 months i has send my PP but lets keep our fingers crossed (ALL IS Well)

yes,you r right Aman bcoz this is a marriage case and they dont need any qualification check, only they need to check is some criminal record. anyway this our imagination rest god knows....

when it got modified or updated... if you check in bottom of the page you can view the date...

It got modified today itself. I checked at 10am and then at 1pm...At 1 i saw the change.
bottom of the page says: Date Modified: 2012-06-12
I think that shows if something was changed in that page and doesnt refer to change in processing info

True. It shows when page/website was modified & doesnt have anything to do with status change.
