New Delhi - 2012 applicants

Guys pls let me finish off my story here....

Yesterday i.e. 15th, when I still hadn't received my pp back after I got a call on 9th that the visa is issued & would be sent through speed post, I got really worried.... I tried calling NDVO to enquire whether they had actually despatched my pp or it got somewhere lost.... I called NDVO & asked the operator to transfer the line to Richard(the person who called me). They did & I got a voice message asking me to record my message. I got disappointed and recorded my message asking for the speed post tracking no. so that I can follow up with the local post office.

To my surprise, I got a call today morning at 9 from Richard giving me the tracking no. of the speed post. he even tracked the status of the consignment for me & confirmed that it had reached my local post office & would reach me anytime today....

I was really surprised by this behaviour of NDVO i.e. calling @ 9 in the morning, tracking the speed post status..... it was really nice to talk to him. he even shared his extn no. with me & told me to contact him for any problems..

& finally my day got nicer when I received my PP today..... the visa was issued on 9th july and is valid till 10th of Aug.......

So here my story ends.... my heartfelt wishes to each & everyone in this forum!!!! congrats ammuknn & v_sys!!

Can you call XYZ and ask him to hurry up and get all the 2012 applicants done in this week? Tell him all of us send him our love and hugs and wishes.

@aks : That's ridiculous mate. Hope the new canadian immigration minister sort this strike and we can get to see our loved one soon. Let me know when you get your visa. Best of luck bro

I am still waiting. ...........Aug 12 will be my 10 months of waiting. :-\.. Medical expires end of spetember.. ???

Did u get PPR YET?? Mine was requested in March.


Hey Reeyan... no PPR yet... also for me Aug,30 WILL BE 10 MONTHS OF WIATING... husband medical expires Sept. 2....

That's great! Got the passport in your hands, congratulations! Glad to hear it all worked out. I know my wife would be very nervous while waiting for it to arrive. Good luck and have a happy life ahead!

it was Richard in my case too.... and yes we will only feel relax when we have passport in hand and just two days to go,
I think in both of our case , Passport will be in hand by the end of Thursday afternoon (IST) , hopefully

GUYS!
I am really happy for those who got phone calls from Visa Officer....But plzz stop giving out their name on the PUBLIC FORUM.
This will annoy them and they will stop calling the applicants even if it is an emergency and instead send an e-mail...
If tomorrow everybody/applicants started calling randomly NDVO and asking for this xxxxx guy dont you think they will be suspicious?
I request you to stop giving out critical information about the Visa Officers as they are ONLY meant for the people who received the call.

I really hope you get your passport request before september and they can issue you a visa right away before medical expires. This waiting game is getting ridiculouse..

i think there is no point in contacting him without having a contact initiated from him, unnecessary followup may result in delays some times, i have experienced first hand and would recommend to not do that... ,just suggestion

Thanks v_sys...I was afraid that next thing I will be seeing on the forum is the persons ext number or email....which would be horrible and consequences even worst ...thanks really appreciate it

you can delete the post/ modify it to remove his name
