Hi bachansoo, bachansoo said:I hope there aren't issues with passport delivery now. Another user (LunarNymph) has also been waiting for about three weeks after DM. My wife got DM a few days ago (and address change a week ago), so I guess it's still too early to tell in our case. Things are really slow right now with NDVO, both with processing files and sending passports. I'm wondering if the strike action has anything to do with it.
hope you would be lucky to get PP request in the last stage .same time make sure you have not missed any email or call from NDVOhot90 said:any body can suggest me why the ndvo not ask me for ppr request yet because my file recieved date 11 dec.2012 spnsoredship get approved but ndvo not giving me any response

Nothing much..Waiting and waiting and thats all we can really do! I am getting annoyed because my husband travels for his business and he cannot travel anymore since his passport is in New delhi
I tired to contact with conservative party of Canada in my area. They called me right away and asked me to fill up some info about myself and my husband. They said they can help me to find out whats going on with my husband;s status. I changed my mind later on because i dont want to make such a big issue now since its only 3 months after PP submission and not even 8 months after applied filed. Processing time is still 10 months so I will wait. I dont want to push them when they are working on it.
I will only consider it if its past due date which is after 10 months. :
It's mentioned here:LunarNymph said:Hi bachansoo,
Looks like a lot more people are joining our boat called 'Have DM but nothing further'! ???
What strike are you referring to here? NDVO strike or postal strike?

Just wanted to share my information.
Applied: 17th September 2012
Started processing at ND: 22nd October 2012
PPR (by Phone): 14th Feb 2013
In Process: 14th Feb 2013
PP sent: 6th March 2013
Visa Issued: 17th May 2013
Decision made: 29th May 2013
Address updated: 30th May 2013
PP mailed by CIC: 30th May 2013
PP received: 3rd June 2013
I studied in Canada for a year and worked there for a year (2 years in Canada)
I submitted medicals, police clearance, letters of support from family and friends, personal letters, emails and around 50 photographs with my application
Although I grew increasingly frustrated by the lack of updates from CIC, I did not order GCMS notes nor did I do a MP inquiry. My lawyer suggested that it is not advisable to do so unless the application has exceeded the given timelines.
I understand everybody's frustration but when CIC states that it takes 10 months to process an application, I think we should be understanding and allow them that time. Like my lawyer said "forget about the application till the 10 months are completed". She also said that processing times depend on the experience of your visa officer (someone new would be more careful and hence take longer)
To all of you who have been waiting for much longer than the given timelines I sympathize with you and hope your wait ends soon.
Our frustration only makes us more impatient.
