What is your reasoning for waiting?
The way I see it, there is no disadvantage in requesting your GCMS file. It takes almost 30 days to get it, so the longer you wait, the longer it will take to get any information. If you get news from NDVO in May, then worst case, the GCMS won't tell you anything new. For $5, that's worth doing.

Agreed. But as my PPR was on 2nd March and my medicals started showing only on May 3rd 2013 which means there is some activity on my file hence..I want to give NDVO some more time.

.......And all the more one of my friend in the forum told me I should should for 2 to 3 weeks after the Medical received shows in ECAS. I choose to wait for that time frame.

Same boat. Kimmy got DM ...ours will be very soon . I'm sure. I will be asking for the GCMS on June. Lets wait and watch this month.

You applied before me and I hope your status change into decision made very soon..

Processing time is 10 months now. When I applied it was 8 months and i think urs was the same.

May 11th 2013 is my 7 months now..It kinda sucks to wait for that long..

I applied 7/12/2012. Hence my 5th month running..and I'm loosing my patience too hence I can understand you situation too. I think for you, you should apply for the GCMS if not applied already . High time.
