Just checked my ecas today and my spouse's address changed to our Indian address.

Know idea whether it is a good sign or bad ? Does anyone know.

Hey Muksi,

The address before was my Canadian Representative's address i.e Canadian Address which got changed to Our Indian Address.

What can u make of this change ?

In my opinion, it means someone over at NDVO realised that the address needs to reflect the correct one (India address) and made the change.

It means your file is not lost!

Honestly, it's nothing to worry about. What's your current status?

Yup. Means they are looking at your file, and have probably started the process of Criminality/Security and maybe even Background Checks.

This happened to me couple of weeks ago. I think they do this after they receive the passport. So hopefully your processing is nearing completion. All the best!

I think it means your DM has been made.. Cause my application went into process in Feb but my address is still my reps address..! good luck

You could have traveled before PP request ,now you cannot request PP without DM.

Thanks aks.asr1. Inprocess date - March 9, PPR by phone - March 11. Passport reached NDVO - March 14.
All the best to get your visa soon.

How do you get to know that the passport reached NDVO on March 14th?
I sent my passport in February.. there is no update in portal after that.. The status is still application received.

Its based on courier tracking, NDVO wont make any changes for receiving passport.

Happy to know that so many activities recently with many of the members files, but at the same time when I look at my timeline it makes me sadly wonder what is going on with my file, its been now almost six months since my file reached NDVO and no news yet, no passport request, no interview and no reply to address change request , no answer from MP and no GCMS notes yet,.....
REALLY DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO ?

but for now decided to visit India and be with my wife for few weeks before this delay really gets on to our nerves...
