I'm looking at:
Work experience — requirements
(7) For the purposes of this section,
•(a) a period of employment during which the foreign national was engaged in full-time study is not to be included in calculating a period of work experience;•(b) a period of self-employment or unauthorized work is not to be included in calculating a period of work experience;
•(c) the foreign national must have had temporary resident status during their period of work experience and any period of full-time study or training; and
•(d) the full-time equivalent for part-time work experience is 30 hours of work per week.
I did 2 coop terms (8 months) and I know it is part of my studies but I was not studying while I was working. Will it still count?
Thanks,

Specterz said:Co-op terms are part of your full time study.
For example, if you do a 2 year program, encompassing 4 study semesters and 2 co-ops, it will be counted as 2 year of full time study.
If you were working full time during a break period (summer semester off), then it can count towards work experience.

What I find most interesting is the timing of the announcement and how it helps out people under CEC specifically. I am hoping this could mean we are going to see a CEC-specific draw this weekend.

Please help senior members or anyone else who confirmed about that if someone has work experience on study permit during summer vacation then it will be counted or not for getting work experience?
Thanks very much for your time.

Even I started working full time after my course on off campus work permit but they won't count it until I start the date since I got my PGWP
