I just received my passport request!! Unfortunately, I'll be flying back to my home country next week for a family reunion and won't be back until late Nov. I think I should make it back before the 30 day mark but too close!

Hi tortau, btw, when did you receive your RPRF request? just wanted to know so that i can determine my timeline to expect the PPR request? your medical and mine are very much similar. 2nd Sep - medical where as RPRF on 28th Oct... paid immediately meaning on the same date

Once we get PPR, what are all the documents we have to send? Is it only passport or any other document.
- Do we need to send photos?
- Do we need to send any envelope/letter?

Hi John,

You need to send the below
1. Original Passports
2. Copy of the PPR email
3. Canada Post Prepaid Xpress Envelope (for the passport return)

Somecases, they are requesting for 2 pp photos. If they request, you need to send it else don't worry.

I paid it upfront back in Sept after the doctor submitted the e-medical. She said all was good so I decided to just pay upfront then.

PS: E-Cas went from "Application Received" to "Decision Made" on Nov 2.

my ecas is updated and shows "Medical results have been received". Does that mean medicals are reviewed and found ok?

According to the PPR letter I received, you can't use FedEx. Instead, they provided an address for Canadapost that you can use to buy a prepaid USA Xpresspost envelope. If you provide a FedEx return envelope, they will just mail it by regular mail.

Your status never never showed as In progress ?

I did receive my PPR request on Nov 1 and my status changed on Nov 2.
And yes, it never showed "In Progress" throughout the entire time. I wrote a script check to check its status every hour and was notified at 1am that it became "Decision Made"

Did they provided an address in USA (or online) where I can buy prepaid USA Xpresspost envelope for passport return service?
Do I need to use same "USA Xpresspost" to send my passport from USA to Canada as well?

Hi All,

I'm having trouble logging in to ECAS. I've tried logging in with both my UCI and Application number and nothing works.

Any idea what might be causing this issue? I've logged in successfully to ECAS only once in the past. Am I missing something?

Needless to say, my application has been in the system since January and I've been getting requests from CiC for medicals etc.
