Thats almost what I guessed around.. but.. doesn't seem to be logical to hold RPRF in such cases as there is no RPRF applicable for dependent children. One need to pay the additional application fee which comes to CAD 150 per child along with other paper work (update of application forms, birth certificates, medical tests and passports).

I went throught the same. Difference in my case was that I received RPRF request immediately after medicals request before I could inform them about pregnancy. As you have informed them, they will put your file on hold which means you will not receive RPRF until you complete your wife's x-ray and inform them.. Then they would ask for child's birth certificate(if born in canada) or other documents/forms filled if born elsewhere.. So its time for you to sit and relax.. dont worry its just matter of time and patience.. congrats on arrival of new one...

Me!! They did not call my employer and they did not require any documents from me...I am so worried!! :-X

Hey Srikanth , Ru still expecting an RPRF request or just the step you are waiting for PPR?

I'm expecting PPR as next step from CIC, but we never know what CIC is up to.

Thanks again for Replying , I am too in same situation , paid RPRF upfront and didn't got the request , so don't know still CIC will send the official request for RPRF or shall I wait for PPR . Well bit relaxed as you didn't also got it and at least have a company . Hope we are good . Best of luck buddy .

one quick question - if CIC ask for PCC then we need to send to Ottawa or VISA office mentioned in application ? Do they mention where to send PCC in the email ?

Hi ,

I received my AOR on 18th feb, later there was no news for a long. Just few days back i received additional document request email from CIC asking for reference letter and Greece PCC, I have already submitted Employment reference letter which is on company letterhead ,date and describing duties ,in US address though. Do you know why are they asking the copy again ? I have planned to send the same copy but got a doubt if CIC is expecting the Canadian letterhead reference letter.Any idea ???

Also on Greece PCC , i am not resident of Greece , stayed in Greece for 135 days , do i need a PCC for Greece ??? Moreover Greece embassy in India says "In order to obtain one, you should authorize a person or lawyer in Greece in order to obtain it for you from the competent authorities in Greece ( Ministry of Justice/ Section for Police Criminal Records)."

I do not have any contact in Greece ,Can somebody help on Greece PCC ?

Below is the document request email content from CIC.

This is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada. In order for us to continue the processing of your application, we require the following documents:

Ø Employment Reference Letter: A letter of reference from your employer issued on company letterhead, dated, and describing your duties.

Ø Police Certificate: Please provide an original police clearance certificate from Greece.

Quick question to those who just received RPRF ... does ECAS show your application as in process or received? I received MR, etc but until today, it still says Application Received. Just wondering the status matters...

I think that the application status on eCAS should say "In process" and only then we would get an RPRF request. I know there are some exceptions in the newer applications where the candidates got their applications as "in process" just after a few days of AOR and before even they got Medicals but in general i think the status should say "In process" when you get RPRF.

earlier they use to send out almost along with MR and within 3-4 day the status would change to In Process.. but, now a days there is a long delay in sending out RPRF after MR.... but, as you mentioned looks like now the status is moving to In Process after RPRF is sent out..

When i sent an email to CPC-O about expected future family composition change, they gave the list documents and instructions i need to update/add/follow and asked to send scan copies of the required documents to CPC-O. Just want to confirm if this is the process?
