Hi Everyone,

I am also January 2014 applicant and completed by medicals on 2nd Feb'15.

I received PPR request on 13th March'15 and responded to transfer VO to New Delhi. I received quick response on 17th March'15 with ready for visa email and arrangement of stamping Visa in New Delhi office with the validity of 30 days to submit from date of this email. I have couple of questions , kindly suggest !!!

1. How much time visa and COPR would be valid to land in Canada? Does they both have same validity dates , please confirm so that I can plan for my travel arrangements accordingly.
2. Me & my family passports are issued from Mumbai and my mailing/home address is also from Mumbai in the CEC application. However,I am in Hyderabad for some project works and I am carrying all my family passports with me here in Hyderabad, can I submit them at Hyderabad VFS to get the visa and COPR. Any problems in case of submitting passports to VFS through different city ?

Firstly, Congratulations....

Ans 1.) VISA and Copr has validity for 6 to 9 months.... So that should not be case for you if you are planning to come canada within 6 months.

Ans 2.) you can send your passports from any VFS office but make sure to tell VFS agent about your receiving address is different then sending location. Also when you fill up the VFS form you have to mention your Receiving address.

Don't forget this step otherwise you might lost all your stamped passports....

I have also submitted passports (mine & family) to VFS today. Can you tell me how many days it took for you to get your passport back and what is the validity of visa stamped on your passport, have they gave you sufficient time for landing?

It took 14 days for me to receive back our stamped PPs. The validity is approximately 1 year from the date my (principal applicant's) medicals received at CIC.

I have requested GCMS notes again and will receive on 7th of this month.
I will also apply my Bridge work Permit soon as well because my open work permit is going to expire soon.
