--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My PR - CEC application has reached CIC on 24th january and have received an email from CIC on 25th Feb confirming application was complete, Bank Draft has been encashed and application will be sent out for processing. However, I have a concern regarding my Employer reference letter.
I have applied it under NOC 2174. Though my designation during my employment in Canada was mentioned as Analyst Programmer (as per the level in my current organization for a Computer programmer),
1. the intial description of my duties is mentioned as <domain> specialist.
Also, as the letter was issued upon my request,
2. it was mentioned as "as a <domain> specialist I was" instead of "as a <domain> specialist he was".
My details duties and responsibilities were the same as were mentioned in previous temporary work permit application which clearly states I fall under NOC 2174.
The two mentioned points are the only changes from my previous temporary work permit application. In the temporary work permit application it was written something like
"as a <technology specialist> he will work as Software Developer in Canada".
I am now concerned whether I need to make necessary changes in Employer Reference Letter for above mentioned points and send the updated one to CIC or should I remain calm and see how it proceeds.
Any help/suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Surya
