Hi everyone!

I did my landing yesterday at Toronto Pearson Airport, when returning from a business trip outside Canada! Everything went smoothly. After customs, I went to see an immigration officer. Waited for 15 min, met with the officer, she reviewed all the paperwork and 10 min after the most awaited part..... The officer says with a big smile "Welcome to Canada" ))

What a great feeling! I decided to move to Canada 5 years ago and since then Ive been fighting for my PR. Study permits, work permits, bla bla bla. Now, finally I have my PR!! The waiting is really hard but everything was worth it! This is a word of encouragemnt for everyone who is still waiting for their PR. Dont give up and be patient!

Could you tell me what documents to carry (apart from cpr and the documents from cic). I am planning to land at Toronto airport. should I carry my old work permits as well?

I am still waiting for PPR. I am a Jan/2014 applicant. The waiting seems so long. Hopefully the ppr is on it's way...

I check on Ecas several times everyday and nothing changed since MR, so I request another set of GCSM note today. Hopefully PPR will arrive before the note.

It is hard to say, sometimes people gets PPR with 2 weeks after medical received, and others may have to wait for months. And if your file got transferred to another office, it will probably take a little bit longer. Also this new EOI/EE just got started and most of CIC personel probably are working on the new cases (because CIC is targeting to issue the PR within 6 months under the EE, they must work hard on it to reach the goal), therefore our PPRs are delayed for sure.

The PPR will come, it just a matter of time, so we just have to be patient!

Just need your COPR documents ( both copies). You can carry old WP. I updated landing status at Toronto Pearson Airport. They asked me only one question about my funds How much I have right at that time for my expenses.

My application was received on Jan 31, 2014 and I got MR on Dec 19, 2014. My medical result was received around Jan 6, 2015 and I paid upfront RPRF on the same day. Now I am waiting for PPR.
In addition, I got a reply from CIC about my application last week. They said my application is under security check by other government department now. However, a friend in this forum told me the check may cost 8-12 months.

Hi everyone
I applied in Jan 2014 ,AOR received in Feb 2014
After then I got request for Documents now in Feb 2015

I was hired by this XXXX company based in Toronto which is a Consulting company and was working on a project at the client location in Vancouver for 8 months and then returned to Toronto and was working in Toronto .My contract I signed or offer was with xxx company and I am full time employee of this company and was getting paid by them .Now that VO assumes that the company I was working for is a Staffing firm and asks me for LOE from client which I never had. Employees are not involved in the contracts made between the company and client .i don’t think any company will provide this information. Don't know what to be sent in reply .

Any help with this will be highly appreciated
