Actually if you click on my banner, it will take you to the website I made this banner from ;)
I picked one where I'm still on trip and put my starting date as the day my application was received.

I'm not sure about how the messages work. I'll leave it for someone else to answer X)

Hello..

I am planning to apply under CEC program, I have a query regarding the documents..

Do we have to provide the notary certified documents(educational and Work Experience)??

Also in the Document check list its not mentioned about the educational documents, do we have to submit the Notary Certified Documents??

Thanks

The documents checklist tells you everything you need. It tells you when you need documents to be notarized. Read it! :)

It doesn't mention education documents, believe it or not, because they are not required! CEC is not based on education. They know that if you have a PGWP then you had studied in Canada!

"Newbie" cannot send any message. Once you have 10 posts you will achieve "member" status and then only you can send messages.

Guys,

I added to the tracker the Total time from Payment, AOR and Elapsed since Application received by CIC.

Let me know if it is ok for you. If not we can remove it.

Hi Andy, HY325 and other senior folks,

Congrats to all Jan applicants who got AoR. If CIC keeps same pace, hopefully mine and for other Jan last week applicants should come in a week or two.
A clarification -
In Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM 0008), I missed to mention "Immigration office requested for processing this application". As I am in Canada so I guess it should be - CPP-O.
My question is now how can I know which visa office CIC assigned for my application? Will this information available in AoR, ECAS etc?
Appreciate your inputs.

Thanks Tom.

Regarding visa office, if you're in Canada they would send it to CPP-Ottawa automatically.

How would you know that, well that's a very good question as I couldn't see them mentioning the visa office in my AOR. Not sure if they would have this info in ECAS, as my info is not updated yet.

I wouldn't worry too much about it as far as I receive my AOR, I would just assume it to be CPP-Ottawa. Or email CPP-O a week later you receive AOR to confirm this info.

Hope it helps. Cheers!

Thanks Peaceful. This information surely helps. :)

Hi folks,
If any of you have any inputs over this then do share with us.

Agreed! All previous posts suggest that if you applied within Canada, your application will automatically be forwarded to CPP-O. Need not worry.
