Thanks, Andy. You are very quick.

Not sure if I can ask you this or not. Mine also would be NOC 2171 code. Can I have a reference doc reg detailed duties/responsibilities etc. And affidavit format for date of birth certificate? A request.

I heard not documenting duties in an acceptable fashion is one of the common reason for CEC PR applications rejections.

Please note that this format is for guidance only. The format might vary from case to case.

Just to give you all a brief on what has changed in CEC stream (02 Jan 2013 vs. 31 Dec 2012)

1) One needs to have 12 months of full-time (or an equal amount in part-time) skilled work experience in Canada in the three years before you apply.
2) If you gained your skilled work experience in Canada in a NOC 0 or A job, you must meet the minimum level of CLB 7 in either English or French for all four language abilities.
3) If you gained your skilled work experience in Canada in a NOC B job, you must meet the minimum level of CLB 5 in either English or French for all four language abilities.
4) Document Checklist IMM 5610 has changed
5) Document IMM 0008 Schedule 8 has changed
6) Processing fee can now also be paid upfront (online). If you are not found eligible, processing fee will be refunded.

as of Jan 2nd this year, you need to have minimum 6 IELTS and for a higher managerial positions, IELTS 7.

If you look at the guide and language requirements, you will find this.
CLB 7 for NOC 0 or A jobs and CLB 5 for NOC b jobs.

If you gained your skilled work experience in Canada in a NOC 0 or A job, you must meet the minimum level of CLB 7 in either English or French for all four language abilities.

If you gained your skilled work experience in Canada in a NOC B job, you must meet the minimum level of CLB 5 in either English or French for all four language abilities.

Hi

I am wondering about section 10 of the updated check list. CIC still needs copies of T4 tax slips and Notice of Assessment issued by CRA. If someone like me has started his job on 1 January 2012, he has no T4 tax slip and NOA yet, but the 12-month employment is satisfied. So shall I wait until those papers are issued by CRA? I heard the NOA to be issued takes until May-June. Just wondering how to proceed with that.

hi googler,
I am in the same boat as you are. Mine started in 2011 Sep and the required period was up in 2012 Oct. So at this point which I am planning to submit this week, I am just submitting all the pay stub copies and the employment contract and letter, 2011 T4 and NOA. I explained the situation on a seperate sheet of paper for the missing 2012 T4 and NOA. I think it's given that they would know.

I have also noticed that now they are not asking you to provide a copy of your degree/diploma and transcripts. I will give it to them anyway.

is your CEC for post grad work permit experience? in such case, I think they've alwasys ask you to submit the copy of your diploma and transcript.

CEC for skilled workers, such as myself, in doc checklist, such documents are not required.

Yes I am a graduate. No, they don't ask for diploma and transcript any more

Instruction guide has been updated twice this year already and Document checklist has been updated at least once this month. Education document requirements have been removed from the new Document Checklist and the Education in Canada section has been removed from Schedule 8 - Canadian Experience Class form.

Even for those with Canadian education credentials don't need to submit their diploma or transcripts any more.

It's a little confusing because CIC keeps updating their forms and instruction guide too often.
I'd keep my eyes on CIC website for any changes. Please make sure you have the current and valid information.

hi jason and guys out there in this forume,

I've noticed most of you guys sent the application to CPP-O.
I am wondering is there a particular reason for it?

To jason, I am from S.Korea as well. my question to you, why did you decided to sent yours to CPP-O?
I am thinking the visa office in Korea but haven't decide yet.
if you have to serve the military, you make sense but I am a female so it isn't an issue. In my case, do you think I should send it o Seoul? Wouldn't it be faster to be processed in Krea?

I will appreciate your opinion since you've already submit it.

thank you
