If you'll be living in select areas of downtown Vancouver or Richmond, look into Novus for your internet and Cable TV needs. I splurge for a plan with 100Mb (up and down!) with a monthly limit of 1 TB. The lowest tier plan has 25Mb up and down speeds. They offer phone over fiber as well. Unfortunately, the service is only available in areas/buildings that were built right from the start (or have been retrofitted) with fiber to each condo unit. Internet and TV is fiber from end-to-end. As far as I know, no\other provider can come close to Novus' speeds.

good info, and i am looking for something like that. I am on fiber right now here in Hong Kong, but 100mb ul/dl would suffiice for my needs.
