New Brunswick Job fair - Mauritius

Hello Everyone,

I have recently registered for New Brunswick Job fair - Mauritius which is on May 2nd and 3rd.
My NOC 2174 - Computer programmers and interactive media developers.
I have 3 years of work experience in India and my IELTS score is LRWS - 8.5,8.5,6.5,7.5 (CLB 8)
What are my chances of getting invited if i have registered from India for the job fair?
My doubt is, can we register for the job fair from another country and get invited? Suggestions are highly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
 
Hello, I have also registered from this job fair at Mauritius for NOC 3012, I'm currently at UAE.. I think they're checking on the profile/details that you have sent, there are many others visiting other countries for Canada job fair because it's not always that your NOC is included in each job fair.
 
For those who have joined this job fair at Mauritius, kindly post here if you were able to get an invitation to attend the job fair...

Hi, Are you planning to attend this job fair in Mauritius and do you need invitation from them to attend?

Hello, yes it needs an invitation from them before you can go on this job fair. You need to print that because you will show it to them as a proof that you're invited. If possible also during the job fair, bring your IELTS results, ECA, resume and POF if you have any, just in case needed then you can prove that your papers are complete if ever they give you ITA for nomination..

I'll try if I can attend as we are understaff now, so annual leave are not being approved yet..if ever I can't come then I know that there are still many jobs fairs that will be conducted by NB. Just always check their website cause they are posting announcements most on the time

Thanks a lot for the detail info. I am planning to apply for my wife as her NOC is there in the list. I will register in a day or two and see if we get invite. I am also in UAE (Dubai). Do you know anyone else planning to go from UAE....may be we can plan together if we get the invite.

Any idea how much time they give for joining in case they select you for the job? And is there any last date for registration?

Just post here who will be coming for this job fair from UAE, I'm sure there there will be many who will come..

as for the last date of registration, I have read from some of the thread about NB job fair that they're closing like 2 weeks before or if they have already met the qouta for some NOCs. They're giving invites at least 7-10 days and there are some 3-4 days prior to the event as what I have read from the experiences of the people here..

Even i am eagerly waiting for the invite.Apart from ECA,IELTS,POF, work reference are we supposed to carry any mandatory documents
 
Hello everyone,

I see they have invited from Data Scientists as well as Devops Engineers. What are the chances of getting a job in case we get invitation for the job fair. In case we dont get a job can we use this attendance as a connection to NB for immigration.

How about applying for Canadian visit visa since we have some time for it. Will it make any difference as to which country we are applying ? i am based in middle east.
