we applied on SEP. 25 2018, above 55 both .Does anyone know when is the next Citizenship test in Fredericton?
My application status on ECAS shows inprogress since January 2019. I submitted my application back in Nov 2018. It's been more than 8 months and still I have not received TEST invitation, I wonder why it's taking too long for the test? I am planning to go on vacation end of October, I am puzzled, what should I do? Any suggestion?
it is in AUGUST 2019 , they had a ceremony in May and another one on canada day. by the looks of it its once every 2 monthsDoes anyone know when is the next Citizenship test in Fredericton?

I am 35. Yes, me and my wife we both have to write citizenship test. We had submitted our application back in Nov 1 2018. Our application still shows -Inprogress since Jan 2019. We are both planning to go on vacation to attend some family functions at our home country and I am bit worried why it has taken so long. Why they can not send us invitation for test? I am just worried I have waited so long and if I am out of country and then they send letter to write test, I wonder if I can reschedule it then thought it won't be my preferred choice.we applied on SEP. 25 2018, above 55 both .
got Finger print request in 31 January 2019.
still hearing nothing about our case. I called them in april and they said the finger print report was received .
Now. I see they are having a ceremony on AUG 20 something , But i do not think we are one of those lucky new canadians.
kindda frustrated too here ..we are both at the same boats. Question how old are you ? do u still have to do the citizenship test ?
How often they conduct citizenship test in Fredericton? I see online that they have schedule shows for Aug 21 for Ceremony only. What about citizenship test? I wonder how often they conduct it? and where can I find schedule.it is in AUGUST 2019 , they had a ceremony in May and another one on canada day. by the looks of it its once every 2 months

Have you written your test already?
i think they do once every 2 to 3 months ..hearing from few new comers in my multicultural centre in bathurstHow often they conduct citizenship test in Fredericton? WOW.. it looks like 2 years for your daughter then if she had applied in 2016. Unbelievable.we are in the same boat.
I & my wife are 60, 65 Y/O. we are exempted from the Test and English Requirement conditions.
the usual process for Seniors like us is too get straight up invited for Oath. Or scheduled an interview if the officer has some questions or reservations about travel history.
Unfortunately so far nothing cam from them. I called to make sure my finger print was done in april and ICRC confirmed the reception.
it looks like NB CTZship processing center are having back log or like to defer applicants to last minutes. my daughter in 2016 applied in nov. and got her test following march but had to wait till October for oath ceremony the following year in NB.
i think they give 2 weeks notices before asking for any thing . if u travel u can still make an emergency comeback. but i do not recommend not showing or delaying the process . becuz , they are really slow as snails
Not sure if there is any forum for Fredericton, NB folks who I can get connected and ask about the test schedule.i think they do once every 2 to 3 months ..hearing from few new comers in my multicultural centre in bathurst
unfortunately NB like most of the atlantic canada get thing slower than any where else.WOW.. it looks like 2 years for your daughter then if she had applied in 2016. Unbelievable.
Well, I live in Fredericton. I moved from Alberta, I didn't know things could be so slow here. Few of my friends live in BC remote places and the longest it took for them was 1 year.
yeah I am from fredericton, and you are right, things are super slow in this province as I have been on waiting list for more than 2 years and still no hope for the family doctorunfortunately NB like most of the atlantic canada get thing slower than any where else.
my daughter applied march 2016, tested on april may 2017 but waited for the ceremony till Nov. 2017. 11 months total.
i agree there are not many ppl here from NB to get us a good gauge of the processing time
the AOR and IP status change occur while being processed in NS Sydney office. In NB as well, and still waiting for the AOR ... Is it processed in NB or in Ottawa our applications ?
Thanks
