New born baby (Inside Canada)

Hello all,
I am still waiting for the results of my PR application (I apply last March) and I just realized that I've never inform about the birth of my three-month old baby. I wonder how should I inform about this new born. Can I send an e-mail or should I send papers by mail. What information do they need. Which e-mail or post address should I use.
In addition, yesterday I got an e-mail from CPC-CTD-Ottawa asking me to provide proof of Canadian citizenship for my other two kids that were also born in Canada. I wonder if I can send a scan of their passports by e-mail or should I send a certified photocopy of their passports. Again, where should I send that information?
I hope we can help me with all this. I don't want to screw up everything at this point after almost a year of waiting.

The best thing to do would be make copies of the birth certificates and passports of all the 3 kids and mail them. Make sure you have a tracking number and also ask for the signature of the person who recieves them...this might cost you $20......but will give a lot of peace of mind.
Scanning and sending the docs is also an option...but if they do not acknowledge it......you will get nervous.

You can reply by email, plain photocopies are OK, so you can send scanned copies of their birth certificates (and passports if you have them). And NOTIFY CIC of your new child!

You can send photocopies by courier if you want. The advantage is that you would at least get confirmation of delivery. CIC rarely will reply to an email to confirm receipt of documents.

Thanks for your answer! I think I will send an e-mail just because it is easier (I am really tired of all this paperwork) and I will trust that they receive all the information.
