Pls some feedback
We have had interview march 5th since then 2 emails saying waiting for security and background checks
Today we received this
Kindly note that your application is currently under review by an immigration officer. No further action is required from you at this time. Our office will contact you if further information is required, or as soon as we are ready to move forward to the next step.

Based on what i have read on forums, this is really good news. If you have submitted your passport and all info they needed, you are almost done this long procedure. so lucky. alf mabrook. now i heard from here on they just sit on the visa part of another 2-3 months.
wow, thats a long time. i really hope it doesnt take that long for me. did you guys have any issues or missing papers?
as far as I know, If they requested the passport for visa stamping, it should not take more than a month.
Mine took exactly a month, but I submitted my passport in Beirut and they sent it to Damascus because my file was there and they said it will some time beacuse war was starting in Syria and it was shortly before the embassy closed there.
So if they asked for the passport fo visa stamping it should not take more than 1 month. keep us updated marwah
