I saw alot of people received an email for the new tracker? Was it sent to some people and some not.
when you register they verify your email and Yes you get a code on Email to complete registration but you guys are lucky waiting for DM and Oath. I applied June 2019 and it says only background has been completed in oct 2019, it looks like they are joking with me
It really depends on a lot of factors but can certainly look into obtaining ATIP to learn more about the current status of your applications.

This new system shows me that they have not even opened my file since oct 2019, Scarborough office Applicant here. Honestly, I get used to it... My PR took 2 years and 7 months 
So they are aiming this time I guess. .. I almost graduated My master's degree from Toronto Uni while I am waiting for my Test. It will be a story for my Grand Children Years to come. ....

As in previous posts, there are still three lines of aspiring citizens: 1. those who applied in 2019 and this backlog is still around and I feel bad for them, 2. those who sent applications by post in 2020, 3. those who sent online applications since ever (late 2020). It really is the ancient 2019 applications that are about the most issues. For IRCC's to do its performance "target", those in 2020 would also see "congratulations" this year, most likely.
The backlog from 2019 is quite big. Now the question is how they prioritize the DM files from 2019 and 2020. Say both a sept 2019 applicant and Jan 2020 applicant got DM waiting for oath , does the sept 2019 one gets priority .

I was getting a error message whenever I tried to open that link. It turns out their website is suspicious of people who use a VPN.
I have never been able to check my status on ECAS - finally I checked my status using the new tool this morning. It has my background check being completed in early February but everything else is in progress - it will be interesting to know if people can share the length of time between their background check and the test - seems a little odd that simple checks like physical presence are not complete alongside the background......

I have signed up and still waiting for the confirmation code! How long did it take for you guys?
The confirmation code is sent instantly to the email you wrote on the application. Check with IIRC that they have the correct email on record.
