That's what I did. My concern is once you download n open it and fill data after that it does not allow to save with filled information . It does save but as blank form all filled in data get lost. Infact at the time of saving message from adobe also prompt that file will be saved with information .
Download link and save it as on the desktop then you can save it

Have you renamed it first? It is probably read-only.

Yes, I Renamed it and checked properties of file as well. Still it is same. No data will be saved .

Have you tried to download new file from cic website with new form ?

No I applied last month and used old form. This is disappointing. I guess it must be the issue with Acrobat reader - have you tried a different version? E.g.on someone else's computer?

Not on someone else. I guess this new from is like that from cic it self. Or do you mind to give try ??

Use the free version of PDF X-Change Editor - I used it to form fill CIT 0001E and that saved fine, when form fills in the browser and in Adobe Reader DC would not save to the file (Changes lost upon closing the file).

Oops sorry I am on vacation and don't have laptop, only tablet and it would not even open the form.

How about you print the completed form but choose "print as pdf", this will create a new pdf doc with all your info filed in. This is from google:

"HELPROOM ANSWER A simple solution would be to print the completed form, as they say, but instead of printing it out on your printer, print it directly to a new PDF file. This will create a new PDF file containing the original form, complete with all the details you added. If you don't have a PDF writer installed, you can use a free one, such as CutePDF Writer (cutepdf.com), or you can use Adobe's own Acrobat XI which comes with a free 30-day trial."

Thanks this is also other way to save with filled information.
