Hi everyone, I need your help, I am from Philippines and its my first time to that I will visit Canada. My fiancée is there but I cant declare him as my fiancée. Now, in terms ofshow money, since he is the one who will pay all of my expenses once im there. how much do I actually need?

You need to show why would you be visiting Canada, then what is your relation to the sponsor and finally the money.AilaAgapor said:

too be honest I will visit my fiancée. but I cant declare it so I will declare myself as a friend and I will go there for tourism. Now all expenses once I'm there will be covered by him but other said that regardless that someone will sponsor me, I still need to put a money on my bank account.

If you have never been outside of the Philippines, you should be aware there is a good chance your application will be refused. Having said that, definitely apply and provide as much evidence as possible to show you have strong ties to your home country and have no plans on remaining in Canada long term.
ou for the response, so it is okay to declare the relationship status. what was important is I have a strong proof that I will be back in ph. does mt fiancee needs to provide anything besides from an invitation letter if I will declare him as my fiancee? or should I really focus of proof of return? any ideas how long thr provesd will take? im going to submit my application next week, how long it will take to know if im refused or approved? im planning to go there on march
I would declare him as a friend and focus on showing proof of ties to your home country. Ideally you should show you have enough money to pay for this trip rather than relying on him. Make sure the length of the trip you are asking for is reasonable. Two week is reasonable. Two months is not reasonable and will demonstrate you don't really have ties to your home country.

Just declare him as a friend and get an invitation letter, in case they might question about him and all that stuff. Try the easy way apply for Visitor visa, attach as much documents as Syclla said to support your ties to home country. Show a bank statement with funds $$ in there, even if you have to borrow money from friends (return later). If you have a job show that your going back to your job, get employment letter, and select between 3-6 weeks vacation no longer than this.

If ill get approved ill leave ph on the 18th of march, I will arrived in toronto on the 19th then will travel back to ph on the 27th. now technicall I will only stay there for less than 10 days, is $1000 cad enough or safe to say to put in to my bank account?-I can definitely borrow money if I still need more but based on my searches, most reasons why visa is declined its because people dont have enough proof that they will go back to their country.
I already have his invitation letter, he includes my full name, address, DOB, passport number, reason why I want to go there which is he put it as (FOR TOURISM). He indicates there that I will stay on his place and alll expenses will be shouldered by him. He also put his details like his full name, address, DOB, contact number and citizenship if they want to contact the person that I will be visiting.
Now on searches I made some people say that if it is a friend who is inviting u, an invitation will be enough, dont send copies of his passport, bank statements etc as the office might think that we have a relationship as bf/gf and I may not go back. they say that I should let them understand that u are there for tourism and not just to see someone. So I only have the invitation letter.
In terms of proof return, I made searches and heres what ive got, I fill out the forms online, is it going to be better if I put him as my AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE? Anyway, I have my COE, I also ask HR to provide me another letter stating whats my job, how long ive been working for them, salary and the days on when I will be on leave and when I should expected to go back to work. I will also get an affidavit letter swearing that I will go back to my country including thr dates of my flight going to canada abd when I will go back to PH.
Family support tab: I have my siblings birth certificate that I will attached too, I am also a single mom so I will attach my daughter's birth certificate. I have my house title as well as an asset. I will also include my solo parent ID (for single parents here in PH), intellicare(Heath card from my job). I also saw something about an affidavit from friends to support your claim but not sure how does it work and what should be indicated on that affidavit.
I will also make an explanation letter besides from the affidavit for the proof of return so I can explain more and to show the officer that I am really going back to my country because I have a wonderful job in PH whose providing me enough salary to feed my family and my daughter as well is my dependent so I think these reasons is enough to convince them that I will return to my country
