I have a problem. On December 2, 2010, I sent completed application along with all required documents plus the fees to Centralized Intake Office in Sydney, NS using TNT courier. On Dec. 8 and Dec. 9, the status online mentioned “Delay due to weather conditions. Delivery at first opportunity.” Well I thought that it is fine, since they were getting lots of snow up north. But on Dec. 15 there was update on status which said “Shipment not received. Recovery actions underway.” I was baffled since I did not know what it meant. But I waited another day to see if there was any change in status, but there were no changes. Finally on December 17th, I called the local agent for TNT here in Trinidad and Tobago, which is Trinidad and Tobago postal service. They did not know what it meant and promised me to get back to me once they contacted Canada. In the meantime I emailed to TNT North America letting them know what had happened. I received a reply saying that they are tracking it down.

I have been calling TT post every day except on Christmas day to know what had happened to my document. They say that they still do not have any answers for me. I even called TNT North America and talked to the lady there. She told me that it would take at least 5 -6 working days to trace back and see what really had happened in Canada. That was on Dec. 24th.

I am worried that TNT might have lost all my documents, since I am not getting any answers. Does anyone know what it means by “Shipment not received?” Does it mean Centralized Intake Office refused to accept my docs? Or maybe my address was wrong? I used the address given for documents to be sent when using courier.

Somebody please give me advice as what to do.

I am from Bangladesh, of NOC 2121.Similarity you of mine is also that, I get my AOR on 24Nov,2010. Have there any more news as medical or any other?

Dear Friend,
One of the applicants using TNT had similar problem. Her application was stated lost but she inquired with CIO and she was told that her application was received by CIO. So please inquire to CIO if they have received your application or not.

Finally was able to talk to CIO regarding my doc. The documents did reach CIO, Nova Scotia on Dec. 21st. What a relief. After a long one month of run around from the courier, I finally am relieved. Stupid courier still has "document missing" in remarks on online tracking.

Saathi, I am also post June applicant. Are you sure that they are not going to ask for the documents again? I mean the original documents, because we send them the photo copies required by VO.

This was my guess only as I have sent all documents (original) to Nova Scotia. I hope NS will transfer the entire application package to VO.

HI prasant im Nepali stayin in singapore now preparing to apply canada as skille worker with noc 3131 very soon ,but as the visa office asked for our original transcript with uni... envelope and ya its trivuwan uni...... but im here in singspore im not sure what should i do in this situation ?is there another way please help..........

Dear Friend,
All you have to do is send someone with original and copy of your transcript(s) to Balkhu and get it certified. They charge Rs 150 per page and we also need to have an envelop to put the certified copy of transcript as well. Since you wont be in person it may be beneficial to send an authorized letter too.

I think a good IELTS score will be needed but it is important to reach minimum of 67 points first with your IELTS score included.

Dear Friends,
I have one question regarding passport specification. I got my passport in 2005 and is valid until 2015 and my passport has only one line for the full name in the biographic page. But what I see in the forum is that when CHC ask for passport PPR they specifically tell the passport biographic page needs to have 2 lines separately , one for surname and other for given names ? Does any one have the same kind of passport as mine with only one line for the full name . What to do with this kind of problem? Any one of you know any Nepalese getting visa in the old fashioned passport like mine. Thank you hope you all will add your view here.
