Last year, I had applied for an extension to my temporary status here with the reason that I was waiting for processing of my PR application. The extension was given. That period expired in December 2017 and I had applied for another extension in November (a month before the end of the extension period).
Due to some miscalculation on my part, I forgot that my IELTS score was going to expire in January 2018. On that day, my PR application was duly refused automatically due to the IELTS score validity period getting over. I will be appearing for an IELTS exam in the 2nd week of February and results are expected in 13 days.
So the reason I gave for extension - to wait for processing of PR application - no longer holds. So my extension application has every chance of getting refused. I will get my IELTS scores around the 20th February and will submit a new Express Entry application the same day.
My question is - is there a way to tell the visa officers or CIC that I will be appearing for IELTS and submitting a new Express Entry application soon and to keep that into consideration for my temporary status extension application? Or any other suggestion that anyone can provide for this situation.
Thanks
