hello everyone
first of all thank you for this.

my husband is on work permit and he is gonna apply for CEC.
On the work permit, he is job is technical sales specialist and he is technical support manager
Is that a problem?

also I am (spouse) Canadian citizen and we have a toddler. should I also fill in Schedule A and Additional family information? and should I submit my birth certificate, divorce certificate( previous marriage) and our son's birth certificate ?
cause in the checklist, it is mentioned "spouse and dependent children whether they are accompanying you or not"

thanks everyone for the help.
he already sent a application in march through his job's lawyer but CIC lost it and notified the lawyer in August...and then in september, CIC said that it wasn't lost but sent back with a letter explaining the reason but they put a wrong address without tracking number so impossible to find it....yes I know ... so we dont know why his application was sent back and now the lawyer is resubmitting the application next week but I wanted to make sure that we missed nothing

As long as for the chosen NOC code he has achieved valid experience as per CEC and his compensation and reference letter justifies his performed duties accordingly , you are good to go .

To me both look totally different profiles as per what is in WP and what he is doing , If he got WP for the Profile he has applied and doing the same job profile he is good to go.

Your question is not to clear to me - "technical sales specialist" - Technical sales specialists, wholesale trade, sell a range of technical goods and services, such as scientific, agricultural and industrial products, electricity, telecommunications services and computer services, to governments and to commercial and industrial establishments in domestic and international localities

Technical support manager - Technical support managers are responsible for supervising, motivating, and representing a call-in or internal technical support team. These managers help subordinate staff members address customer complaints, usage problems, and questions in a timely manner. They also suggest policy and procedural changes to management to improve the technical support team's performance.

As long as you and your toddler are Canadian citizen , I believe he needs to add your name in family details - To me it looks he should say "NO" as you already a citizen .

Please check again with more seniors too.

thank you.
so for your question, his title in the company is technical support manager but he is the only one to do technical support. I mean, he doesn't have employees under him that he needs to supervise. He is the one who travels to fix technical problems and the one also who sells their machines.
It's an MRI company.
he has supporting letters from the CEO, CFO and R&D manager .

for the second point, you think that I don't need to fill in any form but just he needs to mentioned us on his declaration, right?

Friend as you have justified me , The same way VO need to be justified . If all proofs provided and support the lead statement you are good to go.

please clarify once more with seniors , Its my opinion you being citizen. if you see this form it ask to be filled by spouse too , whereas his declaration for accompanying I feel he should say "NO"

yes the letters support his declaration and describe his job.

about the form, he already mentioned me and our son. but as you may see on the checklist, it's stated "whether they accompagnying you or not". that is where I am confused. and also, should I submit my birth certificate...
it is tricky...
thank you for your help.

To get sure shot answers you can call CIC customer care and explain the situation with doing homework of all forms .

Ask them which would required to be filled as you being citizen and married to the Guy who is applying CEC .

Hope it helps.

This is based on my situation, and I dunno if it's the right answer. My situation is a little similar to yours where my partner is a canadian citizen. No children though. I stated on my forms that we are common law and I included his birth certificate in the application. I wrote there that he isn't part of the application as he is already a citizen. I just wanted to make that clear on my application I'm only applying for me only and my spouse doesn't need a visa or accompanying me coz he is a citizen. I'll find out if that is acceptable anyway shortly as I'm a September applicant.

Assuming your child was born in Canada and is also a Canadian citizen, neither of you are co-applicants for permanent residence. You don't fill in any forms, and you are not part of the PR application. Your husband does include both of you on the Additional Family Information form. Also, he should include a letter of explanation ("My wife and child are already Canadian citizens, therefore I have not included them as co-applicants..."). Include photocopies of your marriage certificate, your birth certificate, passport, and/or any citizenship document, and your child's birth certificate. That is enough, if CIC wants more information they will request it.

cause in the checklist, it is mentioned "spouse and dependent children whether they are accompanying you or not"

Those instructions assume that spouses and children are neither citizens nor permanent residents. (Since there is a Family class program, and they seem to assume that you would choose family class if eligible).

he already sent a application in march through his job's lawyer but CIC lost it and notified the lawyer in August...and then in september, CIC said that it wasn't lost but sent back with a letter explaining the reason but they put a wrong address without tracking number so impossible to find it....yes I know ... so we dont know why his application was sent back and now the lawyer is resubmitting the application next week but I wanted to make sure that we missed nothing

It sounds like you should think about losing your lawyer...

thanks everyone.

this is exactly how we did :)
About the lawyer, he did no mistakes at all. CIC lost his application.
My husband doesn't pay the lawyer. the company does.
And the lawyer is very efficient, cause he is the one who submit my husband 's work permit. Also my husband has 3 other co-workers that applied cec through the lawyer at the beginning of this year, 2 of them are already PR, the third one is almost done.
My husband ran out of luck. :-[

thank you :-*
