Will he be eligible he is B.com graduate and 16 years experience. if your points are above 67 with this qualification and experience, than you are eligible

This should not be a problem, as long as your husband's employer letter can prove that he is doing a job related to NOC 0213

Or should we wait for IELTS to be cleared first??? If you are confident that he can get the minimum required score (that you estimated in points calculation) in IELTS, no need to wait

You can check your respective visa office checklist about what they accept as proof of fund. What I know is they only accept liquid cash in bank or saving certificates.

I am having a six pages checklist its written on top Application for Permanent residence - skilled worker visa office specific instructions
Is this not the one i guess........
As per the checklist you have provided me there is no mention of IELTS......english language test.
So does that mean we dont have to attach the IELTS results during initial submission.

About the Proof of Funds we can show real estate or property
so we have some property which i guess can be shown

Hello friends,

I was reading through the guidelines for submitting documents

The canada govt mentions that Academic Credential Assessment Services improves the chances of immigration clearance.
I have found two agencies who are into rating.

one is http://www.wes.org/immigrants/index.asp

and the other is for ontario
http://www.icascanada.ca/home.php

Please tell me which one is better and more helpful, efficient, acceptable by canadian govt.

Note: For the IELTS reading and writing tests, there are ‘General Training' and ‘Academic' options. CIC
only requires to have their proficiency assessed by the ‘General Training' test but will also accept the
results of the ‘Academic' test. .

You must take IELTS before applying Canada PR.

From Page Number 37,

For applications received on or after April 10, 2010, at the
CIO, do not offer the applicant the opportunity to undergo
and submit the results of a designated language test

You must take IELTS exam before applying to sydney. I am no sure about submission of IELTS. You may submit IELTS original result to local embassy, But it is compulsory to have IELTS result to get exacy language point before applying

Seniors please discuss.....we want more update...

There are 2 matter in this thread...

First one, It is true, IELTS Academic is accepted now, will help you to get Language ability point.

Second one created a lot of confusion to all, even to me, That sentence was for written submission. From 10th April, 2010, Embassy will give you only one option, either IELTS or written submission. If your performance is not good in written submission, they will not ask you to take IELTS Result and will put 0 point.

It is false that you must take IELTS before applying....
It is mandatory but not compulsory.

I chat with senior member to remove my confusion.....

That means we can submit the initial application without IELTS.
If the application is scoring good points then there is no need for language points
But if the scores are lacking then IELTS results will give a advantage

Is that what you are trying to say.
