NEED YOUR HELP FOR CANADA IMMIGRATION

HELLO FRIENDS,

My husband is having 16 years experience in a healthcare, clincial research, diagnostic centre as Administration Manager.

We plan to migrate to canada is NOC is 0014. He keeps very busy with office work and is not so keen to do the paperwork or formalities. But i want to migrate out of this country because of in-laws and other issues.
I have teaching experience 2 years and montessory teachers trained but this qualification is not valid for canada.

I have printed all the papers needed for migration and asked my husband to appear for IELTS. I have read that after 1 may 2010 some skills will be removed from NOC. I am really scared about this and want to complete the entire procedure as fast as possible.

I have some doubts and request you to assist me

1) The IELTS exams are on 17th April the results will come only on 1st may if i post the entire documents to Nova scotia, canada by 1st May then it will reach by 3rd or 4th even if skills are removed then we will be eligible or not??

2) Presently we do not have the huge fund required for immigration that is 8 lakhs we will have to sell off some gold and then add the money into the bank account. My question is do we have to show the funds in bank after we get a medical kit or during submission of form we have to show funds in bank.

3) The police certificate is needed from every territory which my husband lived after 18 years. He was born and brought up in chattisgarh so does he have to bring police certificate from chattisgarh and then he lived in different areas in mumbai so a common certificate from mumbai also is needed.

4) Since we have to apply for immigration alongwith him that is me and my son so do i have to bring police certificate for myself from all the places i lived before marriage.

Ask your husband to prepare well for IELTS and get maximum band in exam. After getting IELTS, apply with new NOC list. I hope, it will not affect your planning. Fill all the forms and prepare your mind toward application of Canada PR. World expect a little change in Occupation list.

Proof of fund is not required at the time of application. You can also prove you have enough fund at the time of medical, on the last stage of visa approval. Do not worry.

Yes, PCC is compulsory for principal applicant but not now, on the last stage of visa approval. Do not worry.

Yes, PCC is compulsory for spouse/dependent but not now, on the last stage of visa approval. Do not worry.


I suggest, not to worry, just take IELTS and apply after releasing new occupation list (after 1st May).

My husband is not studying much like i said earlier....God knows what the result will be everything depends on it.

About funds after IELTS results are out and we get medical kit we will start the funding raising process ???

I thought police certificate is needed now while submitting documents.....

want to apply before new list is released the list maybe revised and what if some occupations are removed from it??

Here is what you need to know and what you need to do.

IELTS
* If your husband can speak good English then there is no need to be to stressed for IELTS.
* Its a very easy exam.
PCC
* Obtaining PCC in Mumbai is very easy as it only takes 1 day for getting PCC but you all need to personally visit the Passport Office in Mumbai and get it.
* It takes 2 working days to get your PCC.
* You don't need PCC now but when your application is approved by CIO then you need it.
FUNDS
* You need funds to be shown in your account for a minimum period of 3-6 months, atleast 3 months.
* You also need to send in Proof of Funds when your application is approved and you have to send the Bank Statement/Balance Certificate to CHC, New Delhi.
* So you need to start making arrangements from now and not wait till you get medicals.
* If you don't have funds you dont get approved.
Also don't worry for any NOC Changes as the changes wont be so quick and these type of changes take time.
Prepare all the stuff which is required and submit it to CIO.

Either I missed something in your question regarding NOC code that you want to apply under or may be you need to go through the 38 Occupations in MI again , 0014 is not there in current list

The job code 0014 does exsist unable to post links
It comes under the category of Code 0 under Management Occupations
0014 Senior Managers - Health, Education, Social and Community Services and Membership Organizations

Dear NamasteIndia

No doubt that 0014 is under Managerial skill code. But all NOC under category 0 A or B can not apply. There is a list of 38 Occupations out of Category 0 A and B, where you should have at least one years exp to Qualify.

If your current job code does not qualify you may wait till MAY 2010, there will be a new list out soon and I hope there is some thing in that for you

Just write in form the amount they required...do not start arranging money or selling property. I say again, Relax about proof of fund

Just write in form your police record is clear..do not start arranging PCC. I say again, Relax about PCC

Apply after IELTS result, I suggest to apply afrer coming new NOC list....face the challenge....

also a immigration consultant told us that we can apply under the job code.

Why 0A and B cannot apply???
Any reasons for that.

if u want to process ur case urself, first u need to have good grasp of the information about procedure. You DO NOT qualify for FSW immigration only upon points. according to current rules, u have to have 1 year experience in 38 nominated occupations. Now the NOC 0014 doest not fall in this 38 nominated NOC list. I suggest u go through the responsibilites of NOC 0311 and check if ur duties match. if they do, u can apply for FSW.

about ur thread opener question, u mentioned many things. Some of these things r of immediate concern and some are not. Your immediate concern should be things u need to apply in first stage. If you are concerned about the change in NOC list, then your best bet is to apply ASAP so your application reached CIO before May 1st. This way your application will be considered under current NOC, even if this NOC will be removed from May 1st (as rumored)

• You Do not need to attach your IELTS card with initial app. So no need to wait for it.
  
• Funds r not required to be shown in inital stage. When ur inital app will be approved, they will give u 120 days to send full document. In that time you can take care of your fund issue
  
• PCC are also the headache in second stage so don't worry about it as yet.

Note: For the IELTS reading and writing tests, there are ‘General Training' and ‘Academic' options. CIC
only requires to have their proficiency assessed by the ‘General Training' test but will also accept the
results of the ‘Academic' test. .

You must take IELTS before applying Canada PR.

From Page Number 37,

For applications received on or after April 10, 2010, at the
CIO, do not offer the applicant the opportunity to undergo
and submit the results of a designated language test

You must take IELTS exam before applying to sydney. I am no sure about submission of IELTS. You may submit IELTS original result to local embassy, But it is compulsory to have IELTS result to get exacy language point before applying

Sorry for sounding harsh, but I want to provide you the correct information and not set up wrong expectations

Not all NOC codes are eligible to apply under FSW. There is a list of 38 occupations only that qualify and after you qualify you can claim experience points for 0 A or B category jobs that you have done

Please read http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who.asp. I will quote

"According to the eligibility criteria, your application is eligible for processing if:

•you have an offer of arranged employment, OR
•you are a foreign national who has been living legally in Canada for one year as a temporary foreign worker or an international student, OR
•you are a skilled worker who has at least one year of experience* in one or more of the occupations listed here.http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who-instructions.asp#list"

the form i have printed is asking compulsory and in checklist to attach a IELTS result

But otherwise his profile is matching for all this NOC's
