The discover Canada book have a lot of pages. I may not have time to study the whole book and I doubt that reading the entire book is nesscary.
Which topics is the test based on?
What pages should I study ?
Will be nice to know rather than reading info thats not needed for the test. Thanks!

Make time to read it all. If there were only certain pages that had extra weightage, everybody would be focussing on just that.

I know this is not the answer that you wanted to read- but make time for this, and read the full book.

Yep read all of it, including the footnotes under the pictures. Questions can come from anywhere.
There is no easy way out of this.

Read the book cover to cover at least once ( i recommend twice). Then take a bunch of practice exams that are available on-line. That should be enough to do well on the exam

Yeah read the whole book twice and do a couple dozen mock tests. That should guarantee a pass. There's an audio version of the book that you can listen while at work, on a bus etc.

It all depends on how much you want to pass. If you can't be bothered doing your part of the bargain, go ahead and fail. If you want to move on to the second round, do what all here advised you to do.
I read the guide twice, plus did some free online tests, passed 20/20

It is really not that long at all O_o do yourself a favour, read the book at least once, then do some practice quizzes online and you should be fine.

Please study diligently for the test. People who study said it is easy, people who don't said it's hard. The questions are straight forward and can really come from anywhere in the book.
What I did was downloading the audio version and kept listening to it when driving instead of listening to music/radio. It helps you absorb the materials gradually. But I recommend reading the books at least twice and do some online practice tests just to get the feel of it. Do not invest too much on the online tests as I personally found they are not very representative of what on the test.

The best thing to do is to just make a commitment to read a little bit every day (even just a chapter at a time) and then go over it a couple of times. In my own experience, I found the actual test easier than some of the online tests that I did. The way that I see it, it's short term pain for long term gain!
