Hi there,
I applied here in canada when i was still working in taiwan, i applied my visa in canadian embassy in taiwan but in my Status i ticked the "single or never been married" box even i'm already married because i thought they based it in passport and my passport is still in my single name but when i arrived here in canada i applied my Sin and healthcard and i declare that i am married even when i applied for a new work permit in cic vegreville i also declared that i'm married and i give a xerox of my marriage cert together w/ my application for my work permit and they issued me a new work permit without a question. Do you think it will affect my appliction for pr in the future?? I will my apply my pr nxt year.

when did you apply for work permit and when did you receive a response.

Please let me know the timeline as I am waiting for my WP application response.

I applied last year, i send my application march 20, 2010 they received it march 21,2010 and i got a response from them april 17, 2010
