NEED YOUR ADVICE..SISTER IN PHILS..pls help!

hi!i'm from the philippines. i am a permanent resident here in Canada.i would like to seek advice with regards to my youngest sister. i am the one supporting her and paying for her education.she is now 1st yr college taking up chemical engineering in Phils. our mom passed away 5 yrs ago and since then ive been the one looking after her. she is 17 turning 18 this november. our dad can't look after her for he have undergone a major heart surgery.i treated my sister as my eldest daughter and we always take her with us to all our trips in phils and abroad. i'll be getting my 2 other kids from the philippines and i am worried about my sister.i want her to be with us so i can guide and look after her.is there any way i can get her? whats the best thing for me to do? should i adopt her ?get her study permit or can i sponsor her? thank u so much!

Hi sis!I have a friend who sponsor her 16 year old sister to migrate in Canada 2 years ago under the family class visa. Now both of them are living together in Alberta Canada. Both of their parents died when her younger sibling was just a toddler.

Sis she didn't adopted her sister. She applied under the family class. She doesn't have any children at that time. I remember she told me she was advised to include supporting documents that she is really supporting her sister with her education and some other financial matters.
I also have another friend who sponsored her younger sister in Manitoba. She has a kid of her own and her sister was given a visa. Best thing I guess sis is that you consult someone whose whose well verse in the migration system in Canada

YOu should note in the quoted case, the child was under 18 and an orphan, you sister is not an orphan as explained in previous posts.
