need your advice. got layoff from work. :(

hi i filed for cic in Nov2015 after SINP and got bonded work permit last Sept2016 till now i got everything done including medical. Background check has been changed from not needed to in process from past couple days. today my employer asked me to put me on layoff. What should i do now i asked him to give me some time to think about it. If i'll take the layoff offer will it affect my file now. PLEASE HELP ME.
