I am a canadian citizen and live with my husband outside of Canada.

My husband's PR CARD expired in 2008. He has not been to Canada since 2004 Jan.

Now he wants to travel to visit our sons who are canadian citizen. Elder son is working as an engineer
and younger son is studying engineering.

If we declare that my husband is living with me.. as per the rules he should not lose his permanent
residency status if he is staying with his canadian wife.

My question is .. what will the immigration officer ask me and what documents will I have to submit
to prove that I am living with him. What kind of check the authorities will do.

Has anyone been in this situation .. would appreciate any information on the above.

thanks

You need to get a travel document for him, then he can enter canada. when you apply for travel document, in that forms all the information needs to be completed
