Need urgent Help

Hi All
Currently i am in Montreal canada on visitor visa and want to apply for asylum. I have been in Montreal Canada for 3 years ( 2013 to 2015) as a student. Unfortunately i couldn't completed my studies and lost my student status. I went to Pakistan ,after spending two years in Pakistan came back to canada on visit visa.

1) Which province will be better to get hearing date soon.
2) I have some unpaid bills and credit card dues, will it affect my case. Later on i will pay it.
3)Whats the processing time nowadays.
4) Is it better to apply from undeveloped provinces like Saskatchewan, Nova Scotia etc. to get hearing date soon.

The unpaid bills won't be a problem. However the fact you fell out of status in Canada and then willingly returned to Pakistan will make it harder to prove your refugee case and cause CIC to be concerned you are really an economic refugee. Make sure you have very strong evidence and make sure you can prove what has changed in your home country since you returned.

You should assume processing will take 2 years - although it could be longer.

If you apply today you will wait at least 2 years before you get a decision, so make sure to look for a province that is "refugee-friendly", for example, one where they will let you get a drivers license for example. (In Alberta they wont give you a drivers license)

Should clarify that the unpaid bills won't effect your immigration status but may make things like getting credit difficult. It could effect thinks like getting a cell phone or renting an apartment.
