need urgent help regarding NOC 1111 (financial auditiors and accountants)

I have everything ready and was about to file the application but someone told me that my previous work experience which is under the job title of ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT will not be counted because this category is only for accountants and job titles which are given on the website does not have title of ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT, can anyone reply because my job duties are almost same as of an accountant and does assistant accountant will be considered as a skilled worker? immediate response will be appreciated considering the shortage of time.

As far as i know they look closely at duties rather than titles. Of course titles should be relevant but it should be alright i guess. May be one of the seniors on the forum can guide u better.

I dont know who seniors are - i just said that as i m new bee on this forum. May be someone who knows more than me could reply.

I am not sure if u r on time or not but try to apply as soon as u can. At least try ur best

Ur job title does not matter. It is ur job duties that matter. U shd have performed at least 80% of the job duties of NOC1111.

First check whether quota for this year is over. If not then send ur application immediately and do not waste time.

well quota says only 17 out of 1000 have been filled so far, which doesn't make sense considering the amount of people applying for it and it started almost three months back. only 17 people in three months.
