Here, I am requesting for your valuable suggestion on the following.

MY PNP is SINP (EE) Express entry stream. I'm FSW applicant now.
Never studied in canada, all work is in my home country, that is India. so my VO will be New Delhi.

I got PNP and I applied last week, I got Medical passed in my CIC a/c and ECAS access also, it showing there status as in process.

My noc is 2281, i'm working since last 5 years in same company and it was my first employment , which i continue and never changed job. Had many reasons for it, near to home, amiable environment. and other personal reasons. There is a certification called "CCNA" for network engg. although its not compulsory for Canadian job req. but as i did job research , they gave preference to person who had it. according to PR timeline people get PR in 3 to 4 months.

So I want to clear this certification but even i have 5 years experience, it will be hard for me to get it in 3 months if i continue my job, as it require lot of dedicated study and expert guidance. So I am thinking about to resign my Job and work toward gaining this certification. As i'm single now and i hv no financial issue, so i can do it.

But do u think , it will do any adverse effect on my PR file, or they might call me for an interview.

What's ur take on it , what should i do.

I know if i do it , i hv to inform CIC about which will i do , as by submitting experience letter and Letter of explanation.

But do u think I need to inform SINP also ??

Actually, you don't have to inform either CIC or Saskatchewan about change in employment after submitting your application. Leaving your current job doesn't make any difference to your application unless it is an LMIA supported job which got you 600 points and that isn't the case here.

Thx Asivad Anac, but i think i hv to inform to CIC as it is written in my AOR pdf that i hv to inform them any changes in my current situation like in family or employment. They hv provided link also to submit it, Case specific inquiry.

I maintain that it is optional and makes no difference to your particular situation. Remember that CIC sends a lot of correspondence to applicants across the board for a variety of reasons. Not all of this correspondence can be customized to each program let alone each applicant. That statement in your AOR is a generic statement that applies specifically to applicants with an LMIA job who necessarily have to inform CIC about any changes in employment because that directly impacts their application. It doesn't apply in your case. This is similar to the post ITA document checklist where it says 'multiple' next to Passport - it doesn't imply that every applicant has to somehow obtain dual/multiple citizenship and submit all those passports, it applies only to a certain section of applicants who have multiple citizenship and allied documents.

You are free to share this news with CIC but it doesn't matter to either your application or to them.

All the best!

Thx Once again for reply, Asivad Anac :)

Yes, you are right cic always send generic documents, but i hv one more question in this regard. If i do not update cic about that i resign job, and when they call for employment check, I think then it will be a issue, if my employer said that i'm not working here now. so may be there a conflict der. So i guess, I should update them so it will be more truthful :)

Even then, it won't matter because you got your points for work experiences acquired BEFORE receiving the ITA. Even if you quit your job the minute you get your ITA, you're still eligible on points for that draw. So even if CIC calls an employer and the employer says everything in your reference letter is true but that you don't work there anymore, it will make no difference to your application.
