I really Need Some Help Unrgently Please!I was offered Admissions into a School in Steinbach, Canada for the School Year beginning September 2011. I have Paid to the School the Total Sum of $12000.00 CAD required for the complete 1 Year expenses.

I applied for a Student Visa from the Canadian Consulate in Cameroon-Africa, and was denied a Student Visa on the grounds that I do not have sufficient Funds. (The only gounds for refusal of Visa). This is surprising because I provided a complete Bank Financial Statment showing sufficient funds in the bank to take care of my studies. I also provided my paystubs and my parents (who are sponsoring my studies) also provided Financial Affidavit of Support, Business Ventures, and Paystubs. Total Amounts in the Bank Statement shows sufficient funds of over $20.000. CAD.

We inquired from the Bank that provided our Financial Statements of Accounts and was informed that they never received any Call or inquiry from the Canadian Consulate, requesting for any information on my Bank Accounts.

I was informed by the Canadian Consulate that I can reapply with additional documents. I donot know what to do at this Point.

The School in Canada faxed copies of the receipts of the totaL Sum of $12000.00 CAD from me as the total payment required for expenses for one year of studies. The school also faxed directly to the Embassy, copies of my Letters of Admissions and other documents that the Embassy might need from the School.

At this Point, my parents and I donot know what to do. We contacted the School and informed them about the refusal. The School was very suprised and advice us to contact an expert Immigration Lawyer in Canada to handle the Case. The School is willing to provide any information to an Immgration Consultant that I may retain to advice and lead us in the process of reapplying.

We have only 3 months left before School begin. Schools begins September 6, and the Embassy requires at least 3 months to process Applications. I am running out of time.

Please I really need help and Advice on this issue. I am currently looking for an honest and Straight foward Immigration Consultant who will help me. We are ready to pay the fees requested, and to see that this issue is resolved soon.

My brother lives in Detroit -Michigan and is willing to make direct contacts with an Immigration Consultant and Pay the fees needed, so as to begin the reapplication Process as soon as possible.

Urgently looking for an Expert Immigration Consultant on Student Visa Issues. Or any Advice on this Issue!!!

Thank You

Scot.

If da funds maintained in da bank r sufficient then da only issue seems that da consulate is having trouble with confirming it from da bank , which bank is it ? Is it remote or renowned ? I dun know much about Cameroon but to me da simple solution lies in changing da accounts 2 b maintained in da new bank record is 2 b provided ; along with da record from existing bank may be resent to da consulate in reapplication by u .

Thanks for your advice,

The funds are available the Bank. The Bank is a well known Bank in Cameroon. It is my understanding that many other students visa Applicants for studies in Canada, with accounts in the same Bank have used that information as Proof of Financial Standing. My parents have been Banking with that Bank for years. The Canadian consulate did not specifically state that they are having issues with confirming that the funds are available. I do not think the issue is with type of Bank or the Bank's credibility.

Thank You for your advice..

I am not an expert but i would like to suggest you to reapply with same documents. Provide a letter from your bank mentioning the available balance, also mention when was this account opened. Provide a detailed bank statement for last 1 year make sure if u you think your parents enjoy good fininacial position. I am sure it will give them a thought of review and you will surely get ur permit.
All the best

Thank You for your advice,

I am in the process of contacting the Bank to do so. I was advice to get an Immigration Lawyer/Consultant to persue the Case on my behalf.... The School and I will provide all the Necessary Documents for the Lawyer to make the Case on my behalf.

Unfortunately, I do not know any honest / genuine Immigration Consultant that will handle the Case for me. Any Advice?

I think, the funds are more than enough. Just re-apply with fresh bank statement, account maintenance letter and Cover Letter. Mention that you have paid $12,000.00 to the school (attach receipt) and the remaining funds (about $14000) is surely available. What I guess is, He overlooked your fee paid receipts, and when he saw you have only $20,000, which is less than $25000(living + study), he straight away rejected it. So do not panic, Re-Apply and you will go thru.

Scott777,

When you applied for the student visa, did you include the receipts from your college that you have already paid them for one year?
